  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The Toronto Make Me Laughs ?? I actually saw a sport utility vehicle with a custom lisence plate, that had a "Make Me Laughs" sticker on it, and the lettering on the plate said "The Cup" -- when I saw that, I said to myself - The only way they'll ever get "the cup" is by going to "Tim Horton's" and buying coffee.

But then I completely ignore "Sports", because when I was a kid I only attended "Private Schools" and in grade 5, when I was nine years old, we were taught :

"The Romans discovered the principal of rule is bread and circus for the masses, - as long as they have enough to eat, and cheap entertainment, they will never rebel no matter how corruptly they are ruled. And so it was that they had a primitive form of welfare to keep starvation off the streets; and they had their gladiators to keep the public entertained."

So what has changed ? We still have "The Gladiators"; and thats why I ignore them; - I'd rather spend my time checking up on "How corruptly we are ruled".
