LC-MS History

Is there a good book any of you can recommend that talks about the history and beliefs of the LC-MS. I picked up “ A History of Lutheranism” by Eric W. Gritsch, but it doesn’t contain much about the LC-MS.

"Zion on the Mississipi" by Walter Forster is the standard work, it's very readable and pulls no punches.

Here, CPH has packaged it with two other books...looks interesting.

Suelflow's biography of Walther is excellent if somewhat Hagiographical.
