  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Anyone know when Trial By Jury is set to debut?

I love the Original, and love love love SVU. CI is...eh. I like some of the episodes (the best was the one with the psychatrist parents--BRENT SPINER!!!), D'Onofrio is an overactor verging on Shatner-bad.

I'm a huge fan of all three. I love the way they focus on telling a story each episode and don't go too much into the main characters lives. Its all about solving crime!

Yes, I like that, too. I think that's why I've been able to get into the shows recently even though they've been on forever. Most dramas these days, it seems like if you miss the first few episodes you never catch up on the ongoing plotlines... but with Law and Order, you can jump in and fully enjoy and episode without feeling lost, even if you've never seen it before. That's good for people like me who don't watch any show regularly. :)
