Well there is rumor Xbox may not name the next console Xbox 2 because it'd be competeing with Playstation 3, and from unconcious thought, the PS3 sounds better than the Xbox2.

In performance, Xbox 2 will undoubtedly be the winner.

Xbox 2. Microsoft can sit around with the success that they are having, Sony has to make the next move. Microsoft can adjust their hardware to exceed the compitition. Anyway, Microsoft has already invested too much money to lose, so they won't lose.

Xbox 2 definitley as they already have a game in the works that I can hardly wait for (Elder Scrolls: Oblivion) I may at a later date pick up a PS3 but it really depends on the game selection they release and how many of the ones that I want are PS3 only. I have both now but the only time I play anything on the PS2 is when the game is not available on Xbox.

i heard that splinter cell: chaos theory was going to be designed for xbox2, but since the box's release got pushed back, they just finished it up and spit it out. i have no doubt it will be an incredible game, though
