this is my last week with my best friend for possible ever. she is moving back to alabama with her family i know it is probable best for her. but every time i think about this it makes me cry. it is like i am losing the only thing i ever had. i know i have more friends but no one or any thing can ever measure up to what she means to me so who ever reads this please say a special prayer for me and melissa. god bless

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lord, we ask that you would comfort the both of them, that when Melissa moves back, that she would write and phone as often as needed, that they would be able to still spend time together in their own ways and that you would help them to get through this, we ask that you would fill the gap that is in their hearts and that they would look to you in times of trial, that you would be the one to guide them and bring them through this. Amen

She may be going back to Alabama but it doesn't this is it or your never see her again. This just means that things will change but if your friendship is strong then you can rest assure that you'll spend more time together in the near future.
