Anyone else love these things!!!!! oh my! We LANed our x-box's last weekend and had several games of 8v8 capture the flag on Halo!! took us like 4 hours for 1 game! it was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's something just so much more fun about all playing at one guy's house, being able to yell at each other, take a break and grab something to eat together, go for a smoke break and chat about the games or whatever, that kind of thing. There's a more human feeling to it, like when your family used to play monopoly or whatever, you're all there, in the room! It's less alienating, and depending on your internet connection it's usually faster too! I'm a little more leery of the 'big lans' now though, after having seen one too many degenerate into a bad-mouthing contest with a porn swap on the side. I'd rather do a little 8 person lan with just people I know.
