CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ohh, maybe I do need to come over to the USA.
I still maintain that brown eyes and hair is more common. But I guess that if you lived in an area with a skewed gene pool, than yeah I want to move there *lol*

Especially since a lot of the world isn't western. I'm sure it's most common in the USA (melting pot) or some parts of Europe, but elsewhere I doubt it's very common. That still doesn't mean it's common in the USA, it's just more common to be less common, lol.
Not to mention that so many people dye their hair.

Yes, I had wondered if people had forgotten about other countries. I mean there would be almost no one with blue eyes in India or China, and that is about one third of the world.

I'm pretty sure the stereotype is pretty accurate.
I mean...afterall, we have a TON of people who think Iraq had to do with 9/11 and the terrorists.
I hear all the time people (even the news) talking about the Iraq War, followed by "Get them terrorists for what they did to us at 9/11! Payback!"
To be honest, with the news and everything, ever since the Iraq War started, I completely forgot we were even in Afghanistan and that 9/11 happened. With the news shooting out "Saddam" constantly, I don't even remember the name "Osama" until I was like "wait a minute...why is the news saying that?" and I remembered, lol. But the whole Iraq thing, along with a lot of other stuff, did help open my eyes to a world beyond north america.
