When Genesis says that Jacob's goats are born striped because their parents looked at striped poles when they mated, that contradicts reality.

You seem to be missing the point.

Völuspá in the Poetic Edda of Norse mythology describes the creation of the world. Is it possible that the Völuspá is wrong? Just saying that it's wrong because you believe something different isn't enough.

Of course it does! And the Koran concludes that the creation story in the Koran is a fact. Pick a holy text and that holy text will conclude that whatever creation story it contains is a fact. That doesn't make it a fact. Fictitious works are quite capable of doing the same thing. Even the Silmarillion does it!

I say the Bible is the word of God, and the Devil, knowing that, had his subordinates write the Koran, Bhagavad-gita, A Course in Miracles, the Satanic Bible, The Preservation of Favoured Races, the Book of Mormon, and a slew of other writings, knowing that unbelievers would throw the baby (the Bible) out with the bathwater (the other writings).

Also bear in mind that I've seen Muslims claim that there is evidence that the Koran is divinely inspired as well, so the Bible is hardly unique in that regard.

Yes, your unsupported claims about some unnamed person changing their mind are certainly more than enough evidence for me to conclude that all of science is wrong!

hmm. that was classic "false dilemma" - one of the text book logical fallacies.

Why does PV=nRT have to be rejected - simply because God tells the Truth in the Bible. You offer a false dilemma and offer no support for the accusation against Christians.

I find a certain paucity in the logic used to make such claims. Given that it was Christians that started all the major branches of science - including chemistry.
