The whole thing shouldn’t have happened because the police in Kenosha should have been there to protect the citizens of Kenosha and their property.

It was bad enough that law failed to provide protection. But they went further and said not only will we not protect you, we’ll prosecute you if you protect yourself. In other words, we will protect the criminals against the law-abiding.

A more important issue than the morality of Rittenhouse’s actions is the morality of prosecuting Rittenhouse despite all of the exculpatory evidence.

I agree 1000%. The malicious prosecution and weaponization of public opinion against Rittenhouse is what energizes me to defend him.

Isn't it curious that Kenosha is 85% white, but BLM protesters are burning the 15% nonwhite/multiracial poorer section? If one suspects that the governing elite and the rioters have a tacit agreement to only destroy the poor areas, then it sort of makes sense that they would demonize a poor white boy with Latino family members who stood out while standing against them.

Yet another reason that Rittenhouse is a hero, though a naive one, for defending his community from the multiheaded hydra.

Joe Biden had no problem smearing Kyle Rittenhouse as a “white supremacist” after he shot three white men in self-defense before we got all the facts and details, yet when it came time for him to comment on Darrell Brooks who sped through the Waukesha Christmas parade, killing and injuring multiple innocent people, Biden said, “We don’t have all the facts and details yet.”

Personal thoughts are - KR is such a young lad who might grow into a really good person who does a lot of good. I hope he becomes a voice that speaks against violent means in the future. We should all be careful how we treat our children. (I would of course like to spare a thought for the 3 young men who were shot as well - whether they were right or wrong - I don't want to see anyone - including KR hurt like that).

I deep down believe the protesters and the rioters probably have a fair point to make - albeit, rioting is expressing yourself very poorly, (sparing another thought for businesses, homes and livelyhoods of the places which get ruined across the whole USA due to riots - not to mention the injuries and deaths).
My feeling is that under enough injustice, for long enough - society will just go into animalistic rage. I see a riot as a symptom of a serious problem that's been allowed to fester.

My feeling is that - around the subject of this shooting are a lot of hypocritical voices.
By hypocisy, I mean someone who is pretending to be a good person, when really, in their hearts they have hatred, anger and violence. They pretend to want good but really, deep down, they hate.
When I believe a person is a hypocrite - I never trust them enough to believe them.
