I have a bean sized knot on the side of my face, along my jaw line. It's not painful, but it's noticeable and there's a small bald area there. I can't afford to see a doctor about it right now, and I don't start my new job until next week(praise God, I was unemployed for almost 2 years. I just need prayer that it's not serious. My friend says he gets them sometimes, but he's able to bust them, I don't think I can do that, the knot I have is more solid.

Hi, I think you should see a Dr. You could do that and still start a new job, right? Praying for you that it's nothing serious, blessings!

my problem is that I don't have any money or health insurance, but I will after starting this new job. I think it's a swollen lymph node, I had something like this before and it went away. I think I just keep thinking about it too much. thanks for your prayers

Giving thanks that you have employment and a bright future ahead  I pray your lump/knot disappears but feel you should put a little money away when you can to get it examined by a doctor, just for peace of mind. It could be a common sebacious cyst, which is an inflamed hair folicle. I've had one surgically removed and it was hard as a rock. Don't touch it, your hands may infect it with bugs. Squeezing is not ideal either, in fact it can make it worse and leave significant scaring where it was. I think you'll be ok but if it is something more serious it's better you find out and get treatment sooner rather than later.

btw don't try to burst cyst.

Praise God that you found work after so much time! I am praying that your job goes well and that the bump you feel goes away as quickly as it appeared. I agree that you should not pick at it, but perhaps put a warm washcloth over it. That might draw up any infection underneath(or a hair if ingrown). Keep an eye on it so you can decide if a doctor is necessary when you start getting some cash. Congrats on the job! God bless!!

praying God intervenes as only He can do, and that it shrinks and is of no consequence. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen.

And praise God for your new job! Praying god's favor and blessing upon you there. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen.
