My opinion is that the Knights Templar Medallion is only a symbol. It holds no special power and can not hurt you. If this medallion is special to you in a way that it brings you closer to your past family members I say keep it. However don't go so far as to want to get involved with the Knight Templars.

There are at least two problems with your engraved medallion from the Masonic cult. The Masons are far worse than evil as you have been informed - it's a satan-worshiping organization that places a great deal of importance on passing satanic curses down through generations of families. The fact that you admire the medallion so much and the fact that it has so much meaning to you, means that you are engaged in a form of worship of a graven image - just what the ten commandments forbid.Don't mess around with God over a piece of engraved metal.

Interesting, I didn't know that about the Masons. Um, that they passed curses down through generations of families that is.

Well, I do appreciate your opinion, Christian Counselor, (and everyone's opinion, should they wish to contribute) ... but if any satanic curses were connected with the Knights Templar medallion directed at my family (I don't know about that), I am sure that JESUS took care of it. I am not a superstitious person. Like I said, my family were/are Bible-believing Christians, born again, and love Christ with all our hearts.

The only graven image I've ever been accused of worshipping is bowing down to my stupid computer to make it work right! (I'm only joking)

Actually, in looking up information regarding the Knights Templars I have seen accusations of unholy activity. There could always be a fringe that could classify; but I have witnessed some fringe "christian" denominations that make me shudder also. I have found information that vehemently states that the accusations of evil doings in the mainline Knights Templar regulated order is absolutely preposterous.

Still open to more comments.
