I got a kitty cat who is a year old. Her name is Lady and she is on her hormonal week and it is really driving me crazy!

She does this howling all night, and all morning long, she kept sticking her butt in my face and making this strange purr and looking in my eyes... does she know I am a human girl?

Anyway, she is very sweet so I can stand her for this week. We are getting her spayed/neutered, whatever you call it for a girl this month, so we won't have to go through this again.

Yes, she knows your a human girl, but idk why they do that. Just be sure to keep her inside so no male cats can get to her and she can't take off in search of one.

My sister in law has 2 indoor cats and a few who hang around outside.

A couple of months ago she took a few of them and drove across the county to a friends farm. She let them go to live a more adventerous life.

Last week one of them showed up on her front porch with 5 kittens. Needless to say she was touched and offered her support to the new mother.

The next morning she went outside and found a pile of 10 kittens on her front porch. When the kittens saw her they immediately began to purr. Down a few steps were the original momma cat and two of her friends all looking whistfully.

It's good you are getting her desexed. It probably would have been nicer for her if it had been done before she experienced her first heat, it's not a very nice thing to go through..

Ensure she stays inside. Cats will try anything to get out, including hiding until someone opens the door, then bolting. If she gets out, you can expect a litter of kittens. Tom cats have also been known to rip at windows to get to female cats, so don't let her sit near them. Poor thing.

It must be uncomfortable for her to want something and not be able to get it. Sadly, we missed the mobile unit because we couldn't get there early. We can't afford it, so we are trying to figure out how to get there and wait in line for 2 hours without me having to miss school.

Having pets come with costs, some of which can be quite hefty. I'm sorry you are having money problems. I really hope you are able to find a way to get her desexed, so she doesn't have to go through it again. Can you do it on a day where you don't have classes? You are twenty so I'm assuming you are at college? How about the weekend?
