I think a lot of it has todo with our attitude, if you go in thinking this is not going to be good, I won't be at it, etc. then you will perceive it that way. If you are with someone you love, he will probably be just as nervous. I think the big issue with this is fear. Your not going to be perfect at it, if you make a mistake or think you make a mistake, guess what your human. If 2 people care about one another a first or second kiss will not make the relationship. If 2 people love one another than it doesn sort of come natural, but it may not come the first time around. I guess what I'm trying to say is it will come down towards your attitude to it and don't expect to be a pro.

Exactly!

If you marry a person, doesn't mean you need to be an *expert* and being married you should have LOADS of time/years to practice, practice, practice.

*Communication* between a couple in knowing each other's wants/needs is a GOOD thing. Going around kissing a lot of people is giving a *special part* of you that should be kept for your future spouse.

Kissing just to be kissing can leave regrets and baggage.

I think I'll have to agree with that. Guy I used to see was totally shocked one day when I grabbed his head and pulled it down to my level just to kiss him. I wasn't all violent about it, mind you, but I was pretty forward and dominant. He wasn't expecting it and was totally speechless. He didn't say anything else until after he left, calling me on the phone just to praise the kiss. I'm like geeze I just grabbed your head, what's the big deal? But alas, that's what he liked.

Absolutely!! Practise really does amke perfect when it comes to kissing. You learn how to kiss well with your partner. No two people are ever the same. Dont ever be afraid to ask your boyf/girlf what she likes. Experiment what each other likes!! Lots of fun!!!

And agreed about the girls being passive thing... My ex-boyfriend didn't like being the dominant one all the time either. I think most guys like it if us girls take the lead every so often!!
