"Bi-link?", Aaron blinked. He didn't quite understand it. "From what I learned in the fight with that Hollow, it's a Nobody-Heartless hybrid, so maybe the bi-link means it's linked to Jacks' heart somehow....", Aaron said.

"We didn't LEAVE the group!! We did what you told us to do, you said 'go through the portal'! So, we WENT through the portal!!", Aaron said.

"I didn't tell you to go on a joy-ride, which is the entire thing we were supposed to avoid! Who knows how this has affected destiny?!" Vangel started walking, but soon stopped and turned back to Aaron and Nami. "Quite right. Which direction is Master Jack's dwelling? And yes, the Hollow was--, er, IS-- linked to his heart. Now come along, we must make haste to Master Jack's!"

"How did you read my thoughts? And what do you mean 'destiny'?", Aaron asked.

Aaron dashed forward, tackling Vangel. Holding an orb of fire in his hands, he held it to Vangel's face.

"Start talking, now. Or would you like to see the 'other' me?", Aaron asked, letting the Dark side of him slip out. It's voice was much more sinister, and cackled.

Vangel sighed. "Master Aaron, I never entered your head, and that is of little importance now. And destiny has yet to reveal itself, for me to reveal such things is unallowed. I can show you my binding contract." Vangel sighed again. "Although I do suppose I should tell you who I really am, eh?" Vangel's sword wrapped around Aaron and tossed him aside, then lifted Vangel off the dirt as he dusted himself off. "Yes, I do owe you that much."

Vangel let out a third sigh, this one longer than the others. "And anyway, I know quite a lot of about the other you, I've studied both of you for quite some time-- but going any further would break my contract." Vangel's sword jell-oed back into its sheath. "My name is Vangel Ion, and I am from the Not-Time, the dimension that exists outside of time. That is what makes me immortal, and..." He paused, looking up at the sky, then back at Aaron. "...and that is why I am here, because I signed a contract. Anything further is not allowed to be told until destiny reveals herself and all of her secrets to you, which won't be long. Now, can you lead the way to Master Jack's? And put your dark self away, he makes me quite uncomfortable with that cackling."

Nami wearily looked over at Aaron with a lazy look, the woman only saying. "So you've been stalking us? That's really nice to know. Really it is. It warms my heart to know that there's a stalker for Aaron and I. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside," she explained sarcastically while summoning up a soda to drink. After taking a sip, she turned to one side of the cave and shot a fire blast at it, the wall opening up to the top of a coffin inside Halloween Town's graveyard. "Of course. Everything ends up in the graveyard..." She walked out of the cave then turned around, beckoning them to follow her. "Are you just going to sit there? We need to help Jack if what Vangel says is true, which I hope it isn't. That Hollow thing was quite nasty..."

"It is most certainly true." Vangel said as he followed Nami. "We must hurry!"

Nami expanded her wings and took to the skies up to Jack's library, his favorite room in the house. Inside, Jack sat in a chair, his expression looking rather sickly and his body almost limp in the chair. "What's....happening...to me?" he asked while reaching out to Nami, her walking to him and taking his hand. "Vangel, what is this black magic?! Fix this!" she cried out in desperation.

Aaron followed Nami up to the library.

"What's going on....?", Aaron said. Why did all of this have to happen at once? Sure, they had saved the universe before by defeating Ansem on Xemnas, but all of these different threats that came up were too great.

Vangel's sword has jell-oed and lifted him up after Nami, just in time to hear her demand. "I'm afraid that's not my job, Ms. Nami." Just then Aaron landed behind him. "What's going on is that the Hollow that you fought, Master Aaron, has made a link to Jack's heart." He turned to face Aaron. "Not to be the bearer of bad news, but he is this way because of that battle." Vangel walked over to Jack and put his hand gently on his shoulder. "Stay put, old boy, we'll handle this, don't worry." He tried to look reassuring for Jack, though he never was much of a people-person.

"There is only one way to end Jack's pain, but that same way may be Jack's end." Vangel paused and looked out the window. "Someone must destroy the Hollow and in the process free Jack. But there are two problems: Jack may die in the process, and..." He sighed. "...no one has ever lived through a Redemption."

"I thought we just killed the Hollow back there in the cave!" she exclaimed, emotion leaking through her voice. Jack was her childhood and adulthood best friend, she couldn't just let him die. Pulling up a chair next to Jack, she said to them, "You guys go get it..."

Vangel shook his head sympathetically. "Hollows respawn under normal circumstances." He took his hand off of Jack's shoulder and walked over to the window. "Immortal, you could say, at least, somewhat immortal." Vangel realized what had to be done. "However, under a specific turn of events, the Hollow can be eliminated. Remember, these are no weak creatures. The powers of a heartless and a Nobody in one is nothing to scoff at." Vangel looked at Nami. "I'm going to be frank with you, Ms. Nami. The only way to truly kill a Hollow is while it is connecting to someone's heart. In other words, someone is going to have to risk their heart by giving it away and another kill the Hollow at the same time. Master Aaron, I will be needing your help with this. We do not have much time."

"Ms. Nami, stay here with Jack. If he begins to show any signs of deteoration..." Vangel handed her a small whistle. "...blow in that. I'd hear that from the other side of the world." He tried to look confident, but in reality he was scared out of his wits. They needed Jack to fulfill their destinies, if he died there was no point to anything anymore. "Master Aaron, shall we?" Vangel's sword swirled around him and carried him out the window, into the dark sky. "Are you coming?"

((Chance said he was leaving CF immediately, so I don't know what we're going to do if he doesn't post.))

Vangel took off into the air. "I'm going. I don't exactly know what's going on, but after what Jacks's done for us, I can't say no to helping him....", Aaron said.

Nami clung to Jack's hand while taking the whistle and putting it on a string around her neck for easy access. "I have an idea, but you won't agree with it..." she said, letting in a deep breath then sighing, a redish aura coming out of her chest and into her and Jack's clasped hands. "I will keep a connection with him so it'll be easier to feel the Hollow tug on our hearts. It's risky, I know, but I can't imagine what I'd do without him..." she said hasily, the red aura settling in their skin and disappearing. Jack's face lightened with life a little bit, "So...we're just going to stay here?" he asked, Nami replying with a nod. "Want to go downstairs and get something to eat? So we're comfortable?" she asked with an arched brow, Jack nodding before leading her down the stairs.

Vangel looked back and slowed to meet Aaron in the air. "Master Aaron, glad to see you decided to come. I doubt I could achieve such a feat on my own." Vangel looked down on the ground, searching for anyone or anything that would lead them to the Hollow. "Blast, I don't see any signs of it. It can't of left Halloween Town, not being linked to Jack's heart." Vangel looked at Aaron. "Master Aaron, how well would you say you know Master Jack?"

"Not well. This is only the third occasion we've come to Halloween Town....Nami knows him best. He raised her.", Aaron said. He slowed in mid-air, gliding gently with his wings. "Why? Does the Hollow behave like Jack, or something?", Aaron asked.

Nami listened to their conversation through Aaron's mind. Ever since he regained his heart, she felt a small connection to him through the mind. Probably because she was remembered after his power boost. Suddenly, she got an idea then spoke through Aaron, her effect causing him to have silver-lit eyes while she spoke, "If you're wondering where his Hollow would hide, Jack's favorite place is the curved hill. He usually stands on top of it and goes stargazing," she explained while biting into an apple. "Maybe you can check the pumpkins around there...." she hinted before cutting off her vocal connection. Sorry.. she whispered into Aaron's mind, this being an apology for using him.

Vangel nodded. "Precisely, Master Aaron, thank you Ms. Nami! Glad I didn't have to explain anything!" Vangel sped up, then slowed down. "Oops. Master Aaron, which way is the curved hill?" He said it with an embarrassed smile.

"Well, and here I thought you had watched us for some time. But you don't even know where the curved hill is.....", Aaron said.

Vangel's face turned red. "I don't have access to locations and specifics, just the important things. Now, Master Aaron, if you remember, Jack is not far from death." He said this dryly. "May we proceed?"

"The curved hill isn't far from here. It's near Oogie's Mansion.", Aaron said, flying off.

"There it is.....But, it seems to be in pain.....", Aaron said. The Hollow was clawing around wildly at an invisible force, but was appearing to be fighting a losing battle. "It must be the connection to Jack's heart.", Aaron thought.
