Aaron landed in the Halloween Town cemetary. "That's funny......I could've sworn there was a Heartless around here.....", Aaron said. He slowly creapt around, checking behind tombstones.
"Nothing.....", Aaron said.
Suddenly, a portal opened behind him. And a Heartless that looked like Larxene appeared, as well as a mysterious cloaked figure. "The Organization.....God, you guys are REALLY annoying!!", Aaron said. He charged towards the cloaked figure, but the Larxene Heartless dashed in front of him, throwing several acupuncture knives at Aaron.
"GAH!!", Aaron said, as he was caught off guard. The knives hit his joints, locking his movement.
Unable to move, Aaron was slapped by a whip of lightning Larxene conjured, and knocked back against a gravestone.
"Attack.", the cloaked figure commanded. The Larxene Heartless leapt, and came down on Aaron, slamming her foot in his stomach.
"I....Can't even fight back....", Aaron commented.
Aaron managed to reach his joint down to remove an acupuncture knife from his leg.
"Larxene, finish him.", the cloaked figure said. Larxene threw several acupuncture knives, dashed, then threw more knives from a different direction.
"Come on body....MOVE!!", Aaron shouted. There was a loud sound as a knife peirced skin. Aaron rolled away, just in time to avoid the attack.
"Guh.....", Aaron said, removing the acupuncture knife from his leg, which he had stabbed himself with.
"Interesting. He stabbed himself to concentrate on the greater pain, and overcome his locked joints...." the figure thought to himself.
"I know who's behind that cloak. Only one memeber of the Organization is conniving enough to use something else for his own bidding.....Am I right, Zexion?", Aaron said.
The figure laughed. "You are correct.", Zexion siad, rmeoving his cloak.
"I knew it was you when you told Larxene to attack. Let me guess.....Your also the one who made the Hollow show up here?", Aaron gasped.
"Wrong. Hollows are a dangerous experiment to combine the heart-seeking abilities of the Heartless, and the strength of the Nobodies. However, the Hollows must attach themselves to a heart via bi-link in order to even enter a world....Whenever they leave the world they have established a bi-link with, it steals the heart with it. Genius, no? But the Hollows were too powerful to contorl, so we ended production.", Zexion said.
"So, you've been alive all this time, am I right?", Aaron said.
"In a sense, yes. After you defeated Xemnas, I was crushed beneath the rubble of the Castle. But, I was still alive--However, the debris had crushed my entire lower body....I couldn't walk, and the debris held me firmly beneath it's grip....I had to use something, ANYTHING to get out....."
"I conjured several Nobodies to destroy the debris around me--The damage was worse than I suspected. My bones were shattered, and my muscles were torn. The only way I would ever walk again was if I replaced my entire lower half...."
"And you did that?", Aaron asked.
"Correct. I froze myself in a cyrogenic state, and used my mind to possess a Nobody. The operation wa sa success.....I entirely replaced my legs.", Zexion said.
"That'sa touching story. But why--and how-- is the Organization back?!", Aaron asked.
"Those two questions can be answered by a single reply--Kingdom Hearts.", Zexion said.
"Kingdom Hearts?!", Aaron shouted.
"Correct. When my comrades died, they became bodiless souls that floated in the spirit world.....If you didn't know this, Kingdom Hearts is the link between the living world and the spirit world.....", Zexion said.
"Our world is also known as the living plane. Kingdom Hearts houses the hearts of those lost.....Including my comrades."
"The spirit world is a plane were bodiless souls go. Since all a Nobody is is a soul and body without a heart, and when you killed them, their souls were sent to the spirit world.", Zexion said.
"But, how did they get back?!", Aaron shouted.
"Somehow, I opened Kingdom Hearts. I don't know why or how, but it opened, and released the souls of my comrades....They flew back to their injured bodies that had been nearly destroyed as well. Currenly, all of the Organization's members are in cyrogenic freeze, awaiting to be operated on.", Zexion said.
"Then, why aren't you operating on them now?", Aaron asked.
"Don't you think it would be better for them to come back to life complete, rather than what they were before?", Zexion asked.
"Your trying to give them their hearts back....", Aaron said.
"Or at least some good substitutes. They need to be in fighting condition if they want revenge.....", Zexion said.
"They won't be coming back. Not if I kill you first.", Aaron said.
"I don'th think your in any position to be making threats....", Zexion said. Snapping his fingers, a Vexen Heartless, and an Axel Heartless appeared.
"He's right.....I can't move, and I'm exhausted from the two battles with that Hollow.....", Aaron said.
"You see, I figured that Hollow could be of some use, so I sent it here. I was right. It was the perfect bait to lure you into my trap.....I realized that you would get in the way of my plan soon enough. And I cannot allow you to ruin our plans again.....", Aaron said.
"Axel, Vexen, attack!!", Zexion said. The Axel Heartless shot two balls of flame, and Vexen a large blast of ice. Aaron managed to dodge both of them, but was hit in the shoulder by several of Larxene's needles.
"I dodge the fire and ice, and get hit by the needles.....I'm at the end of my rope here....", Aaron thought.
