That North Korea continued developing their nuclear programme?

Trump got played for a chump. We can't hold it against him, though, because North Korea has done this time and time again, so it's to be expected.

It doesn't matter what this attempt to bring them to the table looked like; the net result is still the same and that's failure on North Korea's part to honour their agreements.
