Actually a true prophet of God is usually proclaimed by others, because the one so gifted doesn't normally want the title. It is a terribly burdensome gift because along with it comes the disdain and misunderstanding of people.

This is very true.

Humility makes a person reclusive when they operate in great amounts of power from GOD.

Anyone claiming they are a prophet on TBN or any sort of TV or radio show is an absolute phony.

That's also very true, they are an absolute phony.

Just watch the feet and pay attention to their thoughts it comes out in iniquity and you will see wasting and destruction in their path. Which these days others view this as 'nice things'. When it's evil.

Isa 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make hast to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.

Yep mate, body language and verbal language are the signs of shiftiness, falseness, and demonisation.

I punched into GOOGLE search engine, "Kim Clement False Prophet", had over 70,000 hits, and gave up viewing the results after 20 pages.

Exactly it's iniquity shown through as God instructs us to understand.

Kim, God bless his heart, has a spine problem you can visually notice it when he's sitting down (he skirms a lot), I hope he's seeking God for the spiritual root cause of that. He's got a whole lot of spiritism-doctrine in his speech also going on. Lord help him!

As far as Google goes, no need to call the internet-almightly (so called) The Real Almighty God in Heaven has given Christians a greater weapon to combat demonic forces which seduce through flesh of men; Discernment.

Oh trust me, I hope he's right! I've been reading Clements prophecies since '01, and early on I believed him, but as of late I've begun taking them with a grain of salt.

Me too! Don't know exactly why either. He is one of the few that I actually thought was on target but something has changed. Maybe my view?

Kim Clement is a human being who operates in the office of a prophet. Humanity has flaws. When we walk in the spirit we won't fufill the lusts of the flesh. In the meantime as long as we are in this "earth-suit" there will be mistakesade because we have not been perfected yet.

There is one thing that I have found with false prophets, and many have shared this concern with me. Say that you are at a prophetic seminar and the visiting prophet points to you and says: "Stand up that person!" Many, have said that at that instant that person comes under control of that person. Many have shared that they felt strange as if their body was being invaded by a spirit. Just a point that causes some spiritual concern with those who are concerned about people who go laying hands on them to heal or impart something.

The wise do not stand up when they are told not to by God. Yet, I have witnessed people refusing the instruction of the Lord because they "feel a check in their spirit".

We judge for fruit before we sit under a prophetic teaching, don't we? Otherwise, who's the fool?

It was also interesting that others have said that they have sat in the pew during such seminars, and inside them they desiring that the prophet will point to them and speak to them, and when they do point to them, they all jump up in excitement, and throw all caution to the wind. And after that experience they then become a prophet troll, trolling from one seminar to the next.

Yes, the wise are the ones who test the spirits and discern!

Even those with the prophetic gift make mistakes. It doesn't mean they are false prophets.

I have only heard him one on God.tv, and I believe he is a man of God, but I am not of the opinion that he is a derogatory, "hack".

They do?

Who says? And who gives them permission to "make mistakes"? Personally, I think we are ill taught about the whole prophetic thing and do not realize how serious this gift is, especially when it presumes to give life directions or predicts things.
20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ 21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him. (Deut. 18)

yes, prophets should be careful and treat the word of God with care when they deliver it. but shouldn't we all?

if we misinterpret a passage of scripture, is there anyone in here calling for our hides? don't we instead allow that there are different interpretations and try to teach as gently as we can?
if even a pastor makes a mistake, the most severe judgement i've ever seen suggested on here was that he not preach or at least that he be counseled and offer public appology.

I'm content to leave the judgement of Kim Clement to God, to whom it belongs.

He's a hack. Just like every other "prophet" in the world.
I don't know about that, you seem pretty cynical, although I understand why you are concerning all modern prophets. I know he did say God told him that Obama would be the next president and he was saying that the next person would not be a "conventional" christian but shortly after getting in office God would fill him with his Holy Spirit and become the most tongue talking and praying christian ever in the presidency. It's still early I guess but I'm still wait for any evidence of that happening with Obama.

The major problem with Clement is, he prophesied that at this time America would be in it's greatest time of prosperity. Instead what we have is the greatest recession since the Great Depression.
