Oh trust me, I hope he's right! I've been reading Clements prophecies since '01, and early on I believed him, but as of late I've begun taking them with a grain of salt.
I only heard about him like a year ago and haven't studied him as close as you have. Perhaps it's just wishful thinking but I'm praying he's right too.

By the way buddie, congratulations on becoming a mod, you ought to be a good one!

I didn't put the "clock" there, Clement did by saying there was a four year window starting in 2005 for this prophecy to be fulfilled.

I know, I understand what you're saying. My point was only that its difficult to see how a word will come to pass.

Maybe a few "Firerands" will be raised up and torch the land .

Maybe the land will be judged and driven to its knees.. ..the optimum position for revival...?

Just speculating...what if it is through judgement...would that overshadow the prophecy and make it seem wrong?

Israel waited to see the Messianic prophecies fullfilled. Right under their noses, all of them were fulfilled and many of them didn't have a clue.

I wonder how true that can be of prophecy today...

If this is true how can you judge whether a prophet is of God or not? The words of God's prophets should not be veiled like the Old Testement.

However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
But as it is written:

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

Seems to me (and please correct me if I am wrong) that you are giving license to anyone that says vague things about anything. There needs to be a way to judge properly or we are open to danger.

Good point. I think that's the reason for 1 Corinthians 14:29...Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge.

When the Spirit says the same thing through two or three witnesses, it can be established And when the other prophets hear what the Spirit is saying, they can see the prophet who may be missing it, too...And that doesn't even include our own spiritual discernment.

Although I don't necessarily agree that only Prophets can judge (I think that is what you inferred) you make a great point. Wow, what started out as a bash thread is turning edifying! What is happening to my P/C forum!!!!

I don't believe that there are prophets. I believe people can move in the gift of prophecy. So I'd have to say no.

Eph 4:11-12
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ...

If you have a pastor - Jimbeaux - then there are prophets. The real ones just don't introduce or proclaim themselves as such.

So what is the Church suppose to do about these "prophets" who are accurate maybe 60 to 70 % of the time.
I am not suggesting we stone them but if what they "prophecy" doesn't come to pass then it wasn't from God.

You ask a good question. I do beleive honest people may get it wrong on occassion, but if someone has a distinct pattern of being wrong, maybe they are not a prophet.

Here:

http://www.kimclement.com/words/2006/april0806.html

is a word from April 2006 where he talks about the next president coming from Michigan (I think). As far as I know Romney was the only canidate born in Michigan but I guess you don't have to be born in a place to consider yourself from there.

Mat 11:13 "For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John.

Luk 16:16 "The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since that time the gospel of the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.

The only prophets I see in the New Testament are the prophets of old....but this isn't the thread to talk about this. You can pm me if you wanna "set me straight".

That prophecy seems to indicate that this person will be from Michigan, a VP then because of impeachment, become president.
