  • Ibrahim was shot because of his Christian witness. He died in the hospital. VV
A Christian convert from Islam was killed for sharing his faith with other Muslims. Ibrahim Mohammed became a follower of Christ in 2021 and immediately began sharing the Good News with others in his predominantly Muslim community in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. In one year, he led 80 Muslims to Christ, and he devoted himself to discipling the new believers. Because of his bold witness, Ibrahim began receiving death threats from local Islamists; still, he remained determined to share about Christ. On May 15, 2025, he was witnessing in a rural area when someone wearing Islamic dress approached him, told him it would be his last time to evangelize and shot him. Read More.

    Threatened Evangelist Stands Strong

[10] prayers in [3] nations have been posted for Kard.
Kard was encouraged when she attended a seminar to gain a biblical perspective on persecution and fellowship with other persecuted Christians.
Kard felt that she was controlled by the spirits her people worshiped - that they were making her sick and causing trouble. In May 2013, a pastor prayed for Kard and led her to faith in Jesus Christ, and she was released from the spirits' control. Though she kept her new faith a secret, other villagers noticed her healing and asked questions. She started to share the gospel, and 21 people eventually placed their trust in Christ through her testimony. Read More.

    Bombing Survivor Continues Medical Care

[9] prayers in [3] nations have been posted for Rebecca.

Rebecca and her husband serve the Lord through music and evangelism.
Rebecca survived a 2019 bomb attack on her church in Sri Lanka with burns and injuries that have continued to affect her even as she has joyfully pursued a ministry of music and evangelism. She is undergoing surgery to restore some movement in her hands, and her doctors also found a brain tumor in 2024 that has resulted in more surgery and treatment; even so, doctors say the tumor could return. In a meeting with front-line workers, Rebecca, who married and had one son after the bombing, expressed her faith in God and requested prayer for her total healing from these physical challenges.
