The reviews of these films - they were originally shot as one 3-hour epic - all said that they were very offensive indeed

I think the Kill Bill DVD director's cut is the only DVD I forsee myself buying in a long while.

With regards to the implausible nature of Kill Bill, lets take the example of the 5 point heart technique. Now, it is actually possible, so they say, to actually perform the technique and cause an unnecessary fatality. Yes Kill Bill is outrageous but its not impossible to do some of the action inherent in the film. The realist genre is very much Tarantino's style, so its not fair to argue that its impossible or "out of this world".

It is physically impossible to touch a person 5 times and make there heart explode after 5 steps.
It's impossible to touch a person a million times and make there heart explode.

But true, alot of things in kill bill are possible. Like splitting that guy in half with a sword.

How about when that women hammered a stake into a guys temple while he was sleeping?

God was pleased that Jesus was beaten, and hung on the cross to die.

God killed 75,000 all at once, because David counted his armys.

Jesus is going to return with a sword.

I'm Christian, I'm not picking on the bible or anything.
It's just that violence has gotten a bad wrap from the PC crowd, and it seems to have spread in the church.
Bugs Bunny didn't get this treatment.
