Okay, I don't care who you are or where your from... whether you're democratic or republican.... whether you supported Bush of Kerry... whether you agree with the war or not... whether your support the troops or not...
When a statement such as what follows is made, the being making the statement should be excommunicated by ALL, he should NOT be a polititian. There's a difference between playing politics and attacking citizens. It was not worded even halfway decent.... even if it were simply supposed to be aimed at bush.
"You study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. And if you don't, you get stuck in Iraq"
Some people... are morons no matter what party they ally themselves with.
The worst parts were the excuses by Kerry operatives. An insult to the intelligence of all Americans. Perfect illustrations of the low esteem Kerry's backers have of the American people. (Soros' Media Matters was first out of the gate claiming his words had been misinterpreted and what he said was a "joke" which went bad).
Everyone knows what Kerry said and what he meant. Everyone also knows those who are making excuses don't believe a word they are saying.
Thank you for lumping us republicans all together. (Honest, no sarcasm meant).
Some folks seem to think everything that's happened is the sole responsiblity of Bush, which isn't true at all. We forget that we have the senate and the congress to keep one president from "taking over".
Love the banner ! Very funny -- heee hee ha ha har har ! Glad those troops have a sense of humor![]()
Ironic that Kerryundoubtedly is not "educated" enough nor "intelligent" enough to understand or use modern technology let alone modern Military Technology !
Although I find worldly matters to be a distraction that takes my focus off of Christ , I still would've liked to hear an immediate, humble apology from Kerry.
Kerry was jabbing at President Bush's supposed bad grades in college. The opposition has been insulting his intelligence since he started running for President the first time. This was just another one of those times.Okay, I don't care who you are or where your from... whether you're democratic or republican.... whether you supported Bush of Kerry... whether you agree with the war or not... whether your support the troops or not...

I am not a Kerry supporter, but I don't believe he was insulting the troops. He was mis-understood. People took it the wrong way and probably should be embarrassed for not understanding what he said. His apology was disgusting and half-hearted. More of a "It wasn't meant to be taken that way". No where near an admission of wrong.![]()

Politically, President Bush is stuck in Iraq. Our military went in there and now we are stuck there until we finish what we started. This is no secret. President Bush is always saying so.
What Kerry was saying was, if President Bush were more intelligent, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in right now in Iraq. I disagree, but I'm just saying Kerry was referring to a political hot potato, not the troops.

Once again Liberals Can never get out of the holes they are put in by their very own words!
Well i'm sorry But if you could maybe Not say you are a Christian but openly support a party who is leading the way in Gay rights, abortion,"Liberals"? How many liberals are there in the US? OK. And how many liberals are we talking about here? That's right. One. So instead of lumping all liberals together by saying "liberals", why don't you just say "Kerry"? Thank you.

Fortunately, God is a lot smarter than you and therefore, doesn't judge people and how Christian they are due to preconceived notions about the political parties for whom they vote. The only one not acting very Christian here is you.Well i'm sorry But if you could maybe Not say you are a Christian but openly support a party who is leading the way in Gay rights, abortion,
the destruction of our Christian heritage and blaming it on everyone else , it would be harder for me to lump you "ALL together if you would stop putting on the shoe and then saying "I'M NOT WEARING IT!!!![]()
You mean like when Jean Francois Kerry calls everybody in the Armed Forces stupid.Fortunately, God is a lot smarter than you and therefore, doesn't judge people and how Christian they are due to preconceived notions about the political parties for whom they vote. I've come up with a corollary during this divisive political season: whenever someone must defend their point of view through divisive, hateful political rhetoric either has bad arguments for their point of view or none at all. I think that applies here.

Some of the stupidest people I've ever encountered have college degrees. On the flip side, many of the wisest, smartest people I know never even finished high school.two things. regardless of how many people you think you know in the military, i can assure you, it probably represents less than 1% of the actual number of soldiers. so taking and using them as a fair representation of the whole is probably not a good idea. secondly, to a degree, its a matter of perspective, as a high school education alone, to me, means 'not very well educated'. not to be disrespectful to anyone, its simply how i was raised.
Jean Francois Kerry claims it was a "botched joke," meaning that President Bush didn't get a good education and that he has gotten the country stuck in Iraq. Even if we bend over backward to believe Kerry didn't really mean what he said, but had simply messed up the punch line, his follow-up statement later on only made matters worse.No. That's a fact. Check Media Matters. Soros funds it. It was right there saying Lou Dobbs and others got it all wrong about Kerry's comments. Soros gave Democrats over $25 million in 2004. He hasn't stopped giving. He is the biggest single player moneywise in American politics today (the others are Peter Lewis, Steve Bing and the Sandlers--all four of whom work with Soros).
Can't do a google news search without running into Soros' and Podesta's operation (Ickes is involved as well which makes it a de facto Clinton media machine). They spam the net. Only person missing from the gig is Sidney Blumenthall but I guess he has some other job than flacking officially for Hillary now.
Oh my goodness, are you ever correct there.Doesn't make one moral either.
I believe it was George Orwell who once said something along the lines of: 'Some ideas are so ridiculous they could ONLY be believed by an intellectual.'People who are exceptional (above 145 IQ) are usually extremely leery of intelligence. Not once have I heard those at that level praise intelligence as a good in itself. They know it can be a curse. Both on the person who is very bright and those affected by that person.
Odd how, as far as those on the ideological Left are concerned, IQs are considered of vital importance only when a Republican is president. This gushing over intelligence, I believe, has to do with the idea progress and the need for a figure to lead the masses. Materialists, with nothing else to go on and needing a vanguard to push their vision, would, of course, consider IQ the most important factor in a person's make-up.
