Going by standard term times, that comes to about 8 years...

That's a good point - even by the most liberal of accountings his time teaching comes to only 14 years. When considering the actual school years he taught, it comes to under 10 years.

Yeah, I'm at a loss as to how getting a building permit is somehow against one's religious beliefs as well.

On the other hand, tax evasion seems to be just fine with God.

It's one pretty self-serving theology.

One of my high school players went to East Hill Christian until 8th grade. I tutored her in biology last year, but she never said anything about Hovind. Nor did she express anything I would interpret as doubt toward evolution.

Actually, you're spot on. Ken Danagger's name is spelled slightly differently than the one I use for the sake of identity, but that's where the name comes from.
