I'm I universalist Christian that studies eastern paths I just wanted to know others opinionsPersonally, I wouldn't have them. People do worship Buddha (don't know about Ganesh), so people might think you do too. It's just a bad testimony imo.
Lovely I consider my self a Christian Buddhist and in soom senses HinduAs a Buddhist, I also have a statue of Buddha ... I do not worship it, but I do respect it. The respect is not given to the statue as an offering to a living thing, but it is meant for self-development.
Yes so tell me your thoughts on the afterlife reincarnation or no reincarnationIt's a pleasure to meet a fellow Christian-Buddhist![]()
I would call it rebirth instead of reincarnation, in light of the fact that rebirth is happening every moment of every day in our lives. What we are today is not the same as what we were yesterday, and so forth. In the same way, after the visible death of our physical bodies, I do believe that the stream of life continues on in some shape or form (unless one has achieved nibbana). Yourself?Yes so tell me your thoughts on the afterlife reincarnation or no reincarnation
I don't believe I. Reincarnation myself but I don't deny the possibilities but I do believe that desire is the main cause of suffering and I love many of then Buddhist scriptures in actually more biased toward the Hindu scriptures I love there beauty and depthI would call it rebirth instead of reincarnation, in light of the fact that rebirth is happening every moment of every day in our lives. It says Catholic because I'm a Catholic I go to mass weekly I'm simply inspired by eastern philosophyThen why does your profile says "Catholic". You ought to change it soon. It is not an honest statement of your faith, hopefully, it was simply a mistake.

Pardon me so now u r the judge of my soul u have a Eastern religious symbol on ur profile I'd love to chat with u but u seem judgy and kinda rude I dont personally believe in reincarnation so what are u even talking aboutYou should deny it. Because you are a Christian and Christianity do not teach reincarnation.
However, the idea of reincarnation is an erroneous elaboration of resurrection taught in Christianity. I believe incarnation (based on the Bible), but not reincarnation.
So the idea is close and similar, but is only half true. If you appreciate it and seriously consider the possibility, then you are falling into a trap set by satan.
