CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Her red shoes album came out (guessing) sometime between 89 and 91. And why would you be too old? You are living now and hear music that is new(ish), no? 
I believe we are close in age. And as I type this, doing my toys and packing, I am listening to Mozart and I am not over 250 years old. I went though a Kate Bush phase for some reason from the mid 80's to about 96. Go figure.

Because after the 80's, I kind of lost interest with most of the pop music and r&b. I never liked rap. So I just started listening to the oldies.

Pretty funny! I began to lose interest in new songs in the early or mid 90s. A few came out I liked, but not much, and hated rap. Older country began to grow on me the last several years (older = 30's to 70's) and I never liked rap. Made and makes no sense to me. BUT the older I got and get the more I love classical, big band, jazz, swing and American Indian stuff.
And though I have not in 8 years, I used to make Christmas dinner for family and friends for 20 years. Made a good turkey, stuffing and giblet gravy. YUMM.
