Karo Syrup

Bottle feeding moms do you ever use Karo syrup with their formula? I remember being told to do that for Taylor when she was little. Just to add a little bit to help her use the bathroom. I remember it worked really well.

I had to formula feed brea when my milk supply dried out, but no, I never used karo syrup. I don't remember it being suggested to me, but I could just be forgetting.

My aunt use to do that,She told me it had something to do with keeping a baby from getting constipated.But when I started taking care of her son.I put a stop to that and convinced her to put a stop to it,She was putting a baby jar of fruit in his milk.Plus he was already eating baby food,So he shouldn't be getting constipated and never got constipated while I was caring for him.I never used it for any child I've ever taken care of.I wouldn't use it unless a doctor told me to because I really don't know if it's healthy for a baby.

i remember with my oldest there was a time he did get constipated and we did give him some. i don't think it helped.
