Yeah, probably. Trump's "incredible ability" is simply that the GOP pretty much just does whatever he tells them to do. That's it. So, when Kamala is President, if Trump decides to remain a gadfly in politics, and tells his loyal acolytes to quash this bill or that one, they'll probably do it. It would be akin to when Mitch McConnell did everything he could to thwart anything President Obama tried to do, no matter what...except without Trump being in an elective office. Trump can be the unofficial Demagogue in Chief so long as the GOP kowtows to him.Serious question: If Trump really has that much power to "sink" bipartisan bills now, why should we think that Harris will be able to pass bills with Trump lurking around on the outside if she's elected? I mean, the way Democrats talk, they must believe Trump has this incredibly ability to thwart bills. Won't that continue to be an issue if Harris is elected?
Hopefully, they'll wise up...but if they haven't by now, well, I'm not all that hopeful. Still, if he's a two-time loser for the oval office, maybe the GOP won't still consider him the fearless leader of the party; and depending on the outcome of the many criminal charges he's still facing, maybe other things will change as well. Who knows? All I can say is, if he loses next month and goes away...whether to Mar A Lago or somewhere else, we'll all be better off.
