They do this:

MSNBC broadcast images of a Nazi rally at Madison Square Garden in its coverage of Donald Trump’s campaign rally at the same venue.
The footage showed the crowd making Nazi salutes while a parade of flag-waving officials goose-stepped through the historic New York City venue.
“In 1939, more than 20,000 supporters of a different fascist leader, Adolf Hitler, packed the Garden for a so-called pro-America rally,” host Jonathan Capehart narrated.

There actually people defending them doing it -

Mr Musk also reposted images of an Israeli flag being hung from an upper balcony, as well as black, Asian and Jewish speakers at the event.

MSNBC faces backlash for using Nazi rally clips during Madison Square Garden coverage

The backlash to MSNBC’s coverage on Sunday evening was immediate as Republicans pointed out a diverse range of attendees, including a Holocaust survivor.
“Hey @MSNBC this was what you streamed on National TV, and this is Jerry Wartski, a Holocaust survivor attending today’s rally. True colors. You owe this man an apology. Not to mention the rest of the Jews at the Madison Rally. Whose Anti-Semetic?” one user questioned.

I honestly don't think that the media realizes how unhinged it has become. They know that trust is at lows, yet they continue with insane histrionics like this. Then they'll bemoan the fact that no one trusts them any more and completely ignore that they frittered away what trust they had with nonsense like this.

I’m more concerned about the rally itself and the divisive and racist rhetoric that was cheered on by the crowd there this past weekend rather than MSNBC’s reporting and comparison to a Nazi rally from the 1930s.

Why would you not be concerned that the media is lying to you? Certainly the diverse crowd at the rally would not have been welcome at the Nazi rally in the 1930s, nor would there have been Israeli flags flying in 1930. So why is it seemingly irrelevant to you that MSNBC made such an egregious and dishonest comparison?

Comparing a rally filled with ordinary American citizens of all races to a Nazi rally IS divisive rhetoric.

Here's the problem with the unhinged media. In my opinion, those bozos actually believe the propaganda which they are putting out there and they actually believe that there are Americans who agree with them.

2 reasons. 1) nobody is voting for MSNBC to be President of the United States and 2) I think the comparison is quite apt. Nothing any of you have said here has shown this to be an unfair comparison. Both were hate filled rallies for parties and leaders I’d rather not risk putting into power.

I am not gaslighting you. Perhaps what you think is racist rhetoric was instead attempts at comedy by a comedian?

What I thought was the craziest was when they were talking about a Jew being beaten at the 1930's rally and it seemed like they were talking about Trump's rally. You really couldn't tell the way they framed it.

The whole coverage really did confuse the listener as to what occurred in the distant past once and what happened at Trump's rally.

They keep saying stuff about 1930's Nazis but how many events have been held in the venue in the 85 years since? Was everyone who held an event there a Nazi or only the Republicans?

Did you think the 1939 Nazi rally in NYC was all a bunch of foreigners? Those were ordinary American citizens as well. I would hope people are dividing themselves away from this hateful movement. I’m not trying to welcome this garbage into my country even though it’s already here.

If it was only one joke or a set by one comic you might have a point but othering immigrants has been a central theme of Trump and the entire maga movement from the very beginning. It’s the issue he started his presidency with and it seems to be the single issue he wants to have define his presidency.

Ah. So you agree with the comparison.

I mean, in 1930, they wanted to kill Jews, and in this rally, Jews were welcome and shown support. And you think those things are comparable?

Alrighty then.

There are actually Americans that agree with them. But thankfully, they are in the minority and shrinking, as the latest Gallup poll on trust in mass media demonstrates.

I don't think they believe it. I believe they want power exactly this much.

I am not gaslighting you. I am not even coming close to gaslighting you.

I attended the Trump rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night, and let me tell you, what I saw with my own eyes and heard with my own ears was nothing like what you’ve read in the mainstream media. Not even close.

Contrary to reports painting the event as a gathering of racism, rage, and misogyny, I observed a crowd brimming with joy and camaraderie. Ears ringing from all the chants of "USA! USA! USA!," I left the venue reflecting on Trump’s latest slogan: "Make America Dream Again." And, I have to admit, for the first time in a long time, it felt like better days might still be possible. Others there that night, however, walked away with much darker and foreboding interpretations of the very same event.

It’s as if there were two rallies for Trump on Sunday night: one for those who love him and one for those who hate him. Thanks to modern psychology, we now know that’s exactly what happened.

Latino community going 'head over heels' for Trump, Goya CEO claims: We're 'fed up with being exploited'
Trump leads Harris by 11 points among Latinos in a recent USA Today/Suffolk University poll

Latino voters – a longstanding Democratic voting bloc – appear more likely to cast their ballot for former President Trump than Vice President Harris this election cycle, a recent poll shows.
A new USA Today/Suffolk University poll taken among Latinos between October 14-18 saw Trump boasting an 11-point lead at 49% compared to Harris' 38% with a +/-9% margin of error.
Despite Latino voters trending toward Democratic candidates in the past, Goya Foods CEO Bob Unanue isn't surprised. "We are the No. 1 exploited community in the world," he told Fox News on Tuesday.

"The biggest industry that has flourished under this administration, under Kamala, has been drugs and human trafficking. Last year, Tara Lee Rodas testified that the U.S. is the middleman in this hundreds of billion-dollar business. She said there were 85,000 children missing…"

"From 85,000, this year, they raised the amount of children lost or sold to 325,000 children. The Hispanic community, the Latino community is fed up with being exploited. They're fed up with high prices, and that's why you're seeing this community go head over heels toward Donald J. Trump."

Unanue, who leads America's largest Hispanic-owned food company that produces and distributes items in the U.S. as well as Spanish-speaking countries, has been critical of the Biden-Harris administration on multiple occasions — slamming their job performance on the economy and immigration, two prevailing issues this election cycle.

Well, let's take a historical look at it:

The Madison Square Garden Smear

To listen to Democrats, you’d think nothing has ever happened with any political salience at Madison Square Garden except for a big Nazi rally in 1939, providing yet more evidence that Trump is a protofascist since he, too, had a rally there tonight.

That skips over FDR’s consequential speech in the arena in 1936 and JFK’s birthday party in 1962, as well as the Democratic conventions in 1976, 1980, and 1992, and George W. Bush’s highly effective convention in 2004.

That the Garden is an inherently fascistic venue is among the dumbest things we’ve heard in this campaign. Amazingly enough, Hillary Clinton has repeated this line, apparently assuming that it will never be brought to the attention of MSNBC viewers that multiple Democratic conventions have been held there, including that of her husband in 1992.

I suspect people are referring to the Tony Hinchcliffe stand-up routine.

Given that they know left-leaning media outlets are on-call for "pounce mode" in late October, that was probably a poor choice on their part to book him.

For those who are familiar with his content, they know that offensive "roast battle comedy" is the theme of his show "Kill Tony", and that no side, race, religion, faction, orientation, etc... is spared. They ran a series of episode with two comedians parodying both Trump and Biden, and have cracked jokes about topics ranging from the transgender debate, to the gun-obsession of certain members of the right.

But given that "roast" comedy is a niche market and not everyone's cup of tea, Tony wasn't the right choice for a political rally.

Much like, despite guys like Jeff Ross and Anthony Jeselnik being openly progressive, the material they use in the "roast" environment probably isn't a great fit for a Kamala political rally in the 11th hour.
