If you think about it every human being on the planet is derived from insest.
If there were only two people on the earth to begin with and they only had two kids, then one of them died than either they had another kid and it was a girl and the brother had a kid with his sister or the mother had a kid with her kid. Either way the human race started with insest according to the bible.

Hebrew specifically has "tenses" of figurative and literal language. The creation story is told in the literal sense. So, believe that if you want, but creation was accomplished under the hand of God just as He told it to Moses.

God did not create the universe in 6 24 hour days. To advocate that He did so is to advocate a myth. Personally, I'll believe modern science over a book that is not always literal any day. And besides, just because the ancients believed that God created the universe in 6 24 hour days does not mean that He literally did so.
