Just submitted my application!

Just submitted my application to Liberty University! I was feeling fine and all until I click the finish / submit button. Now I'm really nervous about hearing back from them. I knew I would be a little nervous about hearing back from them but now its like....application with essay is sent, hopefully I didn't mess up and they like my essay, hopefully they don't deny me. That would really suck.

Anyone here go to Liberty University? I think I'm going to go down for a visit in a week or two.

I did my masters at Liberty. I had looked at going there for my undergrad, but ended up going to a (much) smaller Bible College. If I wasn't planning on going into the field I did, I probably would have ended up going to Liberty though. I found them really easy to work with. I'm at an even larger school now and have trouble reaching people when I need them. I never had that problem at Liberty, even though they have over 50,000 students!

edit: So liberty got my application. I got mail from them today saying they have placed me in a provisional status for the fall 2011 semester, which means they need the following documents before a decision can be made

College Transcript 1
College transcript unknown 1
Final High School Transcript 1
Prelim High School Transcript 1
and my SAT scores which will be mailed to them by the collegeboard or w/e.

But can I get my college transcripts right now from my current college? I've only been going there half a semester and this is my only semester. And what is a Prelim high school trans.?

I believe you can send a current college transcript now, it normally includes classes from past semesters and list the classes you are taking now but without grades. Then when you finish the semester you resend transcripts with your final grades from this semester. I don't know for sure but I think preliminary highschool transcript would only apply for people currently in highschool (sort of like sending transcripts without grades).

Find out who your admissions counselor is for that school and maybe they can help you with other questions you have and clarify what you need to do. It seems like the list of things they are asking for wouldn't be needed from every applicant, your admissions counselor should be able to tell you.

I just called liberty tonight and talked to them about it. Sense I've only been going to VBC half a semester they told me to get my teachers to email them a update about me, how "m doing in class, what they think my grade will be at the end of the semester and all that. They said if they can't make a decision based upon that then they will need actual transcripts.

Thx, I'm running into some problems trying to transfer there because they want a college transcript but I've only been going to my current college for only this semester and have no credits with them so I don't have a transcript. It's making it a little difficult.

I'm going there for graduate school in about a year and a half (after I graduate from my undergraduate program).
