I agree...GM does a fantastic job.

I think there are some in this forum who think that the mods should side with them whenever they report something. Thing is...we have rules we have to follow. Each case is unique. And sometimes that means we can't do what they want us to do.

Yes, I think that's what people think too.

Honestly, since the rules lightened up more on this site, I like that I can say more in defense of myself or a cause/issue rather than have to report everything like before.
it's becuz my hands were so tied before that I had to almost fully rely on a Mod to referee for me - now I can handle my own (to some extent- some things should be reported)

You mods are expected to be all things to all people, which when you have a dozen different factions pulling you in different directions, cant be easy

not hard enough,

The list could go on

You all need encouragement, and sometimes I think more than normal due to the abuse you must get hurled on a semi regular basis

I'm not really welcome around here, but I'd like to apologize to anyone who was hurt by Rochir's thread. It really was meant in good fun, not as a mockery of the pain being experienced here. Aside from the discussions spurred by this thread and Athene's intervention on your behalf, it's mostly been cat jokes. Believe me when I say that we all seek peace and reconciliation, not further disparity within God's church. My prayers are certainly with you as you try to negotiate life in community during times of challenge.

I am with Macrina. I am taking leave of this place for awhile. I will be watching. I will help with any reconciliations, but I am not going to participate in this anymore. It is wearing me out in every way. I just found my way back. I cannot afford this kind of Spiritual damage right now.

I am very weak right now. I need some uplifting right now, but there are very few of you who are in a position to do that right now.

I am not resigning my membership, but I am not posting until this is resolved or there is at least a commitment to resolve it. I will participate in that.
