CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think of socialism as "social programs are Socialist." More specifically IMO socialism (lower case s) can be something as small a public education or as large as Communism (socialism with a capital S).
I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a 100% Communist government, though I believe as Russia's Communism failed, China started to loosen up and allow people to own property "rights" that can be passed down. Don't quote me but I think Russia and early Mao were pretty close. Food was not purchased but rationed. Every country needs a banking system and the global banking community owns governments, not the other way around.
This is how I think of it, that doesn't make me "correct"

So, I'm sick of it. Everyone in the world you disagree with is a racist in your estimation of things because you can't debate the actual issues.
The world knows this, and is sick to death of it. Disagreeing with your political positions isn't racism. Protection of this nation's borders isn't racism. It's the MAIN job of government.. it's in the constitution as the job of government.
This is beyond ignorance, and we aren't voting for democrats just because you beat people over the head with idiotic accusations of racism.

If you're so sick of identity politics, why are you jumping on the side of a guy who used ethnic heritage to attack his political opponents? This stuff doesn't only flow one way.
Instead of hopping into a conversation a week after it started and proffering a comment based in an obvious ignorance of the preceding 183 posts and possibly even of what Trump said, perhaps you could take the time to read the thread and comment on the arguments that have actually been made. Because we've talked about all of this.

This is obviously not an answer. If you can - and I guarantee you can’t - make the case that socialism as an abstract concept entails the abominable beliefs of the Nazis, then you might gave a point.
As to my background - many if my Jewish relatives disappeared in concentration camps.
Sheesh, the stuff here that passes for responsible dialogue .
