I have no faith in man's ability to be able to fix his problems. That is what got me to be a Christian in the first place.
About a 4th of the US male pipulation was said to have been killed in the Civil War, most of them being the North, who fought ro free the slaves.
You're right, that is a lie, and I'm glad I never said it. However, it's just as much a lie to say that evolution was the cause of some moral decline in American civilization. The idea that teaching Creation is schoola will somehow take us back to slavery isn't just silly. It's just a lie.

True. But you have to keep in mind that this was largely because the Union had more troops. Percentage-wise, the South took a bigger hit. Also, a good number of the dead on the Union side were, themselves, slaves

Atheists will even marry in a church. You could be right that it won't cause a moral decline, but it's just hard if, let's say, your little brother is on their death bed and they ask you what will happen to them. Do you tell me that they'll be in the ground or that they'll be in a better place?
Or if their dad dies in war. Do you tell them that the dad is gone forever, or that thry'll see their dad in heaven?
Kids are sensitive with this stuff, and so are many adults, so what do we do?
It's a hard thing to do.

Afraid the Holy Ghost might come after ya?Lol weird. I don't wanna marry in any religious setting.

Some churches have great architecture. You don't have to use a church for religious purposes. A building is still a building.
Ya but that's still kinda weird. I'd rather get married in Vegas. *shrugs*
No. I just don't follow any faith.

Her husband had a house on a river with a nice small mountain approximated 5,000 feet in height, on the other side. Her son was getting married. Beautiful setting.
Kinda reminds me why one took our Saviour up an exceeding high mountain.
No, that's the scientific version. You mean the flat Earth example where he went to see the whole world?
No, that's the scientific version.
I mean the one where He was shown the whole world via a slideshow.
You mean the correct version.
Yes, we all know that the Earth is not flat no matter how often the book you believe in claims it to be so.
That is only one part of the Bible that not even AV believes.
