  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Just for fun...

Actually, I need to revise that now. The last time I checked, I was 166.5. And that was just after a three mile run. Hmm.

A three mile run?! Lord have mercy brother! What was you running from? Was the cops or a pack of dogs chasing you? 'Cause that's the only reason I'd run. I like walking, walking is good exercise. And not as difficult as running for three dadblamed miles. The only time I ever run is when I've got a bull chasing me. And I garuntee you it ain't for no three miles either.

Exactly. What's with that.
Look at our society. It basically tells women that we can't be too thin or too beautiful and that it's impossible (or nearly impossible) to be thin enough or beautiful enough. I'm 4'11" tall, but I won't tell my weight. I rarely even allow my doctor to weigh me. Most people tell me I'm thin, but when I look in the mirror, I see a very fat person. This isn't unusual though. A lot of women I know are like me in this regard.

I apologize (to you if I offended you, and also to anyone else) if I was insensitive about this. I often forget that some girls are more sensitive about this than others, and I was really just trying to give a little light encouragement. I actually meant my comment to be more of an observation independant of the whole weight issue, but this thread was probably not the best place to make it. I just want the ladies here to realize that a lot of guys are not "society," that they all have different ideas of what is attractive, and that in many cases, guys think any given girl is more beautiful than she does herself.

LOL. I am actually trying to get back into shape for a 10k race in May. I've been sitting at desks for the last five years, and has taken quite a toll on my athletic abilities. A friend who will be running with me is quite a ways ahead of me, so I need to catch up. :)

Yeah I wish I was 60lbs lighter, I could zip around alot quicker, do some awesome bunkerage more quickly and effiecently!

The best diet I had was the flu diet. I had the flu for 2 weeks and lost 13lbs

A 10K race! Have mercy! I coldn't run 10 kilometers if my life depended on it! I don't think so anyway, how far is 10 kilometers? But I digress, the only time I ever run is when I have bulls, dogs, or cops chasing me(and only one out of three has happened there). Or if I'm playing basketball. But see, all those things have a purpose. Running to run ain't a purpose. Even running to stay in shape isn't really a good reason for running.
