Just for final clarification yes, we evolved from monkeys.

We're not evolved from monkeys.
Man came from dust...
the knowledge of Good and evil that is inherited.
In the beginning In the garden they knew not of such things.
Men knew not what good or bad was.
Once they ate of the fruit in which they were told not to eat...
Their eyes were opened.
that same knowledge of Good and evil has been passed down throughout the generations and throughout our cultures
Myself was taught at a fairly early age that lying was wrong.
wasn't taught it was SIN.
was taught it was Bad.
became aware as they became aware of Good and evil in the garden.
Knowledge of Good and evil is inherited.

None of what you wrote, in anyway, refutes the fact that humans evolved from an earlier form of ape.

Ya, I know. I keep getting caught by AV. I really need to watch which sub-forum I'm in.

I deleted it.

There's people who barge in to troll,
but, if there's one thing the narcissit can't
abide it's being ignored.

Excpt that the missing parts don't invalidate the theory of evolution.

That's because, in academia's mind, there was a time when they weren't missing.

That's why I call macroevolution a game of connect-the-dots.

Just draw a line from Dot A to Dot B and make it look nice and smooth.

Except that anyone who knows a thing about evolution knows that that is not true at all. It's not a smooth progressive line. If you only ever pay attention to the grade school text books on it, you'll think it is, but it really isn't.

Really?

Look at this picture:

See those nice, smooth, blue lines connecting the dots?

That's cute.

I've seen that before.

Looks like you guys had a change in kinds (genus) though didn't you?

The professor went from Homo habilis to Australopithecus africanus.

You're just digging the hole deeper, warden.

Because Homo Habilis is a different species to Australopithecus Africanus. Hence the different nams. Australopithecus was a hominid, but not a member of the Homo genus.

You don't even know a damn thing you're talking about. As per usual.

Except, that according to the Bible, humans and hominids didn't come after their own kind.

Let's stick with Homo vs Australopithecus, shall we?

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

What is the binomial in that verse?

I say it is Homo sapiens.

What say you?

Homo Sapiens, which brings to the problem: where did the other hominids come from since they're all older than Homo Sapiens?
Or is this more of your 'embeddeed history' schtick again?
