Monkey's don't have 48 chromosomes champ. Capuchin monkeys, for example, have 54 chromosomes. You're so bound by your rhetoric that you can't even keep your facts straight. Humans have 46 chromosomes because at some point after the divergence that led to genus Pan and genus Homo, humans underwent a chromosome fusion.

Well, that is an interesting anomaly that was seen in the human genome. Evolution makes the prediction that we should see a fused chromosome in our genome. That is exactly what was found in human chromosome #2. Another slam dunk for the validity for evolution as it is able to pass falsifiable tests like this and make accurate predictions.
