Greetings and blessings to u all!

This is a cool site, loads of tips and infos u can find...i'm thankful to God for leading me here on CF. Just like to leave u with a story....'It is Good'

Once upon a time there was a king who has a friend who likes to say 'it is good' on almost every occasion, good or bad.
One day the king and his friend went out on a hunting trip. Whilst they were relaxing, the king's friend checked out his rifle. But whilst doing so, accidentaly shot the king's thumb. The king gave a painful cry. The friend who realised what had happened said to the king, 'It is good, my king that i have shot u'.

The king was very furious with his friend, of course. So, he had ordered his guards to arrest his friend and put him in prison.

A year had passed and the king, who by now had a missing thumb, went out with his other friends on their annual hunting party. But this time they went to a remote jungle. Somewhere in the jungle, the king got separated from his friends and got lost. Whilst lost in the jungle he was captured by a tribe of cannibals.
The cannibals who were very hungry wanted to cook the king and eat him. So, they started boiling a huge pot. When they wer about to boil the king, the chief cannibal noticed the king's thumb was missing.
The tribe's custom forbids them eating anyone who has a body parts missing. So the king was spared and released.
The king was very thankful that his missing thumb had saved him. And he remembered his friend whom he had imprisoned.
The king released him and apologised to him.
But the friend said to the king, 'My king, there is no need to apologise. It is good that u sent me to prison, otherwise i would have been with u in the jungle'.

................................................................................................

Rejoice in the Lord!

Wow kiwichristian that is so true i have grown so much with the Lord since being on CF and have found away to get to church more often where i am learning so much. My pastor has also just asked me if i would be interested in helping with sunday school every now and then. As i have no children every chance i get to work with them i do so i accepted with joy, and thanks for the gift.

Hey all-

Thought I'd jump in with both feet and say hi! Between work and taking care of the family at home doesn't leave much time to meet any new people and make friends so I look forward to talking with you all. Love the CF site so far and found this thread filled with fellowship.

Later all - have a Blessed day

I too am coming to love this site. I feel that I can contribute some, but I am gaining so much more in return. This remains for the most part some what of a safe haven for all people, regardless of beliefs. But mainly, it's nice to find a place where Christians can interact on the internet so freely and without fear. It's nice to know that when I come up against things I don't understand, there's such a wonderful place to ask questions.

Thank you all!
