Strategy for this year- make a concerted effort to do something physical every single day. Said physical thing doesn’t have a time minimum or maximum or a specified intensity level.. I just want to make sure every day I’m thoughtfully doing SOMETHING to improve my physical health.

Day 1- walked downtown Nashville for 40 minutes.
Day 2- hike in the woods
Day 3- 10 minutes of weights while winding down before bed
Day 4- walked 1.5 miles around some stores after dinner instead of sitting on the couch

Only problem is I seem to have injured my knee during circuits end of last year and it’s getting worse with use… might risk a run tomorrow to see if biting the dog that bit me helps.

I haven't checked up on weight loss yet (I don't like to weigh myself everyday or I get anxious and gain more weight).

However, I have started on the high protein low sugar yogurt. I have noticed a difference in my energy levels; I have more energy and I physically and mentally feel better. I was definitely not expecting this to come from the yogurt. I have to wait awhile to see how it affects my fibroids.

There is one thing for me I must do. See, there are 3 freedoms I strongly believe every Christian man and woman should have or strive for at least. The 3rd is one I struggle with.

1. Freedom in Christ. Which is simply a saving faith, repentance, rebirth from above, obedience/desire to do His will, and endurance in the faith.

2. Freedom from debt. Debt = a master/slave like relationship with the world system, unequally yoked with darkness. It isn’t easy, but I do believe if people are willing to eliminate all the various creature comforts and what not, abandoning the lifestyles and trends of the world system it can be done. People do not need $50,000-$80,000 automobiles. They do not need $500,000 dollar homes and really you own none of this stuff anyways. Stop paying Caesar his property taxes in a timely fashion and see who really owns that house you ‘paid off’ (after going into debt just to move in).

3. Freedom from the world system, the pagan/secular humanist culture/customs/trends and being under control of their corporations/bosses. Who controls you most of your waking hours? Is it Christ, or is it your secular humanist job/boss/corporation. In free nations there has to be many ways to earn a living without being united with darkness (the secular institutions of the world). It is a burden being yoked to this world system and putting yourself under their control..allowing them to tell you where to be and when, how to dress, what ‘values’ and worldly political ideologies to embrace, being under control of feminist bosses or effeminate men. You cannot grow to your fullest potential and get the most out of your walk with the Lord being united to the world system. You will at best stagnate, and likely regress. Hard to put away the old man when you are elbow to elbow with unrepentant sinners most of your waking hours. You will not convert these people, it is far more likely they however will pull you back into the world culture and you will let your guard down, the old man will re-emerge.

I left my last job because I just could no longer bring myself to be under the control of feminists, effeminate men, homosexualists, and a satanic corporation that embraces antichrist political ideologies. Being around immodestly dressed women all day; and drunks, substance abusers, womanizers, and the like. I do not look down on these people I am no better. The difference is I just want to leave the world’s CULTure behind while they are fully immersed in it. So I’ve struggled with the ability to make ends meet and desire a better living situation free of secular roommates and such. This year I really need to take my walk to the next level and further eliminate myself from the world system.

Made it through day four of cardio workouts. I am actually feeling much better already since I started. I think a mini- goal for the next while is to increase my water intake. I forget quite often to drink ( I don't get thirsty) and I wear a lot of PPE at work. I think I get dehydrated some days.

Awesome! We'll done! More water is a good one, and I'm stealing it! :p

Gonna do my workout after grabbing my brother from his job, which will make 3.5 days in a row of workouts (only stretched yesterday, no cardio)

1) Read a few pages of a good book before bed.

2) Clean 15 minutes each day. I'm typically a clean person, but sometimes I wait until Saturday to clean my whole place, because that's when I have the time.

You only clean one day a week? Slob! :p
Jk, I feel you! Keeping on top of it every day so it doesn't get out of hand is better, but sometimes, I just don't have the energy after work.

Still fighting off a nasty cough. Feel like I've lost all my momentum, and things had started so well! I might feel up to a little cardio tonight if my lungs continue to improve.

My workouts have been going well. I feel much better since I started last Monday.
That's awesome! Once this cold breaks, I'll catch up!

@TheRealAriel I am trying to be nice to myself, but I'm frustrated. I was doing so good, I was seeing my results, I genuinely excited for my workouts. Since November, I started seeing actual results, I dropped a pants-size, and was able to fit into some of my nice clothes again, and actually feel good in them, not like they were too tight or I looked ridiculous, etc. Now I feel like I gotta start all over again.

@mojoboy31 I feel you. November I got a lung infection that kicked my butt and stopped my running in it's tracks. Then end of the year I hurt my knee first time I started running again and it has me hobbling around again. But I think the groundwork is there for both of us. Even if there's some pains getting back into it, we have some good habits and momentum in place plus whatever lessons we've learned along the way. You should be so proud of yourself! Sounds like you've accomplished a lot!

Decided to really test my knee today and finally try a run. Mom snapped this of me after I finished. I know it’s gross and unflattering…. But I laughed so hard I cried when I saw it that I had to share. I look like I just saw Jesus

doing wii fit once a week to keep me active on my rest day. Today I did it in the evening after eating way too much pasta.. and it said I was down 2.9 lbs from a week ago!! Progress is so encouraging. I’m calling this the year of the butterfly because I’m hoping it will be a transformative year.

I could get on board with a transformation year!

I think I've finally cleared enough congestion, going to try to ease into cardio tomorrow.

Pros: I did my 5 miles today and burned over 800 calories.
Cons: I got a bit snacky tonight and had a martini, popcorn and some m&ms
Great progress! and that sounds delicious :D

I hate sweating. It gives me anxiety, and I still haven't done much exercising. I need to lose at least 60+ pounds to get to a healthy weight though. My metabolism is all messed up, unfortunately. I sound too whiny.
