Even when they don't look like it
I was going to stay home with a cold on Christmas, but my Dad wanted to take me to my brother's house.
They had so much food there, that it was obvious that they could not eat it all. But being proud, I did not want to ask to take home some of their food, even though I could really use it...
However, they sent me home with so much turkey and ham, and pasteries, and bread, and chocolate, that even I can't eat it all before it goes bad. I don't really have alot of room in my freezer, so I am going to make food for the homeless meal this New Years Eve. That's how much food I have!
So, bless you Mom and Dad and family, and bless me for receiving the gift, and bless the people who I can pass it on to.
Lord, when you give, you give in abundance.
