Welcome to CF JWA and the Fab 40's:wave: I see in your profile that Daniel 10:12 is one of your favorite scriptures.( I have it highlighted in my bible:) ,it's powerful) Why is that one of your favorite scriptures?

Hi Cookieboo, thanks for asking. I really like the entire book of Daniel , although some of it is way over my head.... This verse is special to me because it shows that if we approach the Lord with the right attitude, he will hear our cry. I also think the story surrounding this verse is a great example of why we need to have patience and wait on the Lord ( I,m still struggling to learn patience). Thirdly this story also sheds light on the Spiritual Battle that is being waged daily in all of our lives.

If you just had one more day to live, how would you spend it?

My wife and kids and I would load up the Envoy, hitch up the boat and head off to the lake for some tubing, swimming and fishing . On the way we'd have to stop and get too many Krispy Kreme donuts ( because they are pretty good and at this point it wouldn't matter how high my triglycerides got^_^ ) After a fun day I would make sure I talked to my wife and boys about what they have meant to me . There would be hugs and kisses galore and they would know that Dad was gonna be in a better place soon and they wouldn't have to worry about anything because the Lord would provide...

Hi JWA, I see you have listed module operator as your occupation. What is that exactly?

It,s a machine that performs DOT tests on the tires that we make. These tests ensure that there are no flaws in the tires that would make them hazardous to the customer..... Help support me by buying BF Goodrich tires...Thanks for asking ...Bless you Biblebeliever..:)

Hi,
If you was given a million dolars tax free what would you do with it??

First I'd give 10 percent to my local church. Then I would get completely out of debt. Buy something really nice for my wife like a new car (Because she's put up with me for a long time..:sorry: ) Next I'd set up college funds for our 3 boys. Then I would take a trip to Israel (I've always wanted to go there). After that I would help other people out as much as possible....

welcome - glad to have you. Now for my current question (I can ask some of my older questions also if you want;))

The winter Olympics will be starting next week. Will you watch any of them and if so, what is your favorite event.

Thank you edb19, It is good to be here... CF is an awesome place and I am still trying to figure things out... Have met some very good people here especially in Fab 40's.. :D

I do enjoy the winter olympics entirely, but my favorite is the figure skating..

I like all things ice - so I too like the figure skating  - also speed skating (short and long track) and HOCKEY. Overall, I think winter olympics are much more interesting and fun than the summer.

If your home were on fire, what's the first possession you would try to rescue?

God bless you for asking John.. reminded me to change batteries in the smoke alarms:idea:

When I was little my grandfather gave me a few arrowheads that he found on his farm..My boys and I like to walk the fields looking for arrowheads every spring...We've found probably a dozen or more decent specimens that we keep in an old cigar box that my grandpa gave me... We also have a few other little trinkets in the box...some funny money (foreign currency) some little rocks that my boys thought were just too cool to pass up...We often get down this box and look over the stuff and reminisce....Also my oldest boy Dustin gave me a really neat charcoal picture of Jesus for Christmas that means a lot to me....oh and I'd grab my Thompson Center Encore on the way out too!:)

What habits good/bad do you still have, that you picked up in you 20's that would now be considered RETRO?

Probably the way I comb my hair....No wait that can't be it...what hair I have left is very strong willed and isn't about to listen to me anymore..^_^

I guess it would be a strong tendency to think any shirt I am wearing should be tucked into my pants...somewhat retro no?

At least, with my wifes assistance I did throw out most of my fabulous Peter Brady collection of clothes:blush:
