Ok. Let's pretend for a moment that some sort of deity that you people call God exists.

Do you honestly think that someone who is supposed to be *allmighty* would be superficial enough to care for what two (or more) consenting adults are doing in the privacy of their own bedroom? And that artificial, human-made institution of marriage? I think that you people (fundie/conservatives) are oversimplifying theology a little too much.

In short, let people live their lives, leave them alone and live your own lives.

Marriage was instituted by God at the beginning of time.
I think she's referring to marriage in court. Which according to statistics, Christians take the least seriously, as they have the highest divorce rates.

The rest of of Wednesday's comments I have no idea how to respond except that Jesus loves her and I equally.

If the God of the Bible does exist and the Bible is his Word, then yes, He does care about what to consenting adults do in the privacy of their bedroom. He also cares about numerous other things that most of His followers have justified are no longer important, mainly because they are guilty of doing it themselves. I have been told by some Christians that God does not give anyone a burden they cannot carry, so these same people feel justified in stating that gay men and women should remain celibate. Yet when one among their own group is ‘has a glandular problem’ and retains weight easily, you will never hear them tell that person that God just wants you to live on 300 calories a day. No, it that case God makes an exception. It is all very convenient.

 Do you people ever use simple, straightforward logic?

Brieuse and BreadAlone, I want a logical, well thought out argument. I've seen what you've wrote so many times, I can recite it off by heart. It's irrelevant to the question. I didn't ask it to get apologetics from you, I'm sick of that.

What I do want is for you to think. Think!

Dear EnemyPartII
What?

Utter NONSENSE!
Jesus said it and I believe Him not you. Genesis 2, Matt 19, Mark 10, Eph 5 etc. Have you not read? In the beginning He made them male and female, it was for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be united with his wife and the two shall become one flesh.
Tell me, who do you think a man and his wife are if not married?
