Apollo fired one more arrow, then turned around and said, "It was just a few..." but at that moment, he noticed the sun. It had been hours. "...hours ago." He turned around again and began firing once more. His accuracy was getting worse and worse the longer the conversation went on.

 

[AmazonPanther]

((Would it be getting dark yet?))

Lamar’s anger was dissipating and he was beginning to see how foolish he was being. “Do you know where she is right now?” He asked Apollo.

 

[Kimdir]

((Yeah, the sun's setting, that's why it was a shock))

"Last time I saw her, she was in the garden. I'm tired, but if it'll make you feel better, I'll help you look for her." Apollo said.

 

[AmazonPanther]

“No, that’s fine. I’ll find her myself.” Lamar said quickly. He didn’t want Apollo to come with him because Lamar still didn’t trust him. Lamar turned and headed towards the garden.

Apollo shrugged and walked to the dining hall of the castle. The cooks had prepared a wonderful meal of pork and veal, but Apollo grabbed a loaf of bed and walked to his bedroom. On his way he passed the small Library, which gave him a thought...but he was tired, and he continued to his room and slept

((Now time for me to stop lurking and come into the picture ))
Tarshk yawned and stretched himself out of bed, groaning as he put his equipment on, double-checked it, and walked downstairs. His little nap had taken much longer than he had hoped, and when he reached the kitchen he got a whiff of pork right in his face, quickly vacating the area, he resisted the urge to throw up. He HATED pork... a lot.... and being a vegetarian when he could he had only eaten it once on the way here and then it was because some scruffy bandits force-fed it to him before he kicked one of them in the place no man should be kicked, grabbed his sword and bag and got away. Finally throwing away the urge to give up his lunch, he steeled himself for it and walked into the kitchen the back way, smiled nodded, grabbed a loaf of bread and an apple, and hightailed it out of there but not too noticably. He walked outside into the orchard, and leaned agains't a tree, stretching himself out, he tore off a handful of bread and started to eat.

Apollo woke up, not quite realizing where he was. Then he remembered all that had happened the day before. He got up and went downstairs, still smelling the pork. he went outside and saw Tarshk leaning against a tree eating some bread. He walked over to him and said, " You performed very well yesterday. I'm happy you're on my side."

 

[Narmegil]

The young warrior grinned and nodded his thanks of the compliment, "I'm glad you're on my side too, amazing work with your archery, not too many people I know could do anything close to that."he replied, before taking another bite of bread. A small spider crawled down his arm and he extended his arm so it crawled to the ground, he heard a few birds singing in the surrounding tree's, probably some had some nests near where he sat or even above him.

((I'm going to be gone for the next week, so I'll make my char leave too.))

Apollo grinned. No one had complimented his skills before...but I suppose they were less that admmirable at first. He then said "This is fun, but I'm taking a trip to the Capital's library. I've got a ways to go, and I don't know when I'll be back, so have fun." At that, Apollo picked up his equipment and headed off in the direction of the Capital.

 

[Narmegil]

"Ok, see ya!" Tarshk replied, before going back to his food, tearing a piece of bread off his loaf, he tossed it a bit away from him, and watched as a chance bird hopped over and gobbled it up, grinning, he leaned back and watched the form of the archer until it faded into the distance along the dusty but relatively straight path.

Lamar woke up to the smell of food. His stomach grumbled as he sat up and dressed. Last night he had gotten to bed later than he usually did because he had looked for Galen. Ironically, he had found her in her room, asleep on her bed. It still bothered him how stupid he had acted in yelling at Apollo yesterday. “I should apologize. It wasn’t his fault that Galen wouldn’t talk to me.” He decided to do so after breakfast. As he entered the dining hall, he saw Galen sitting in a corner. She was unusually dressed up and pretty today. Lamar got a plate and filled it with food before he walked over and sat down next to her. “So what’s the occasion? I would have gotten dressed up myself.”

Galen blushed and punched her brother in the arm. She had hoped he wouldn’t notice. But then how often did she actually fix her hair and wear a dress? “There is no special occasion. I just wanted to wear this today.” She finished her food and got up before Lamar could say anything else. She went outside to the garden and walked around aimlessly.

The sun was high in the sky as Apollo came into sight of the castle. He had a bag flung across his back and was weary from the weight he had carried the entire way. As he approached the front gate, he saw Galen in a beautiful dress. He began walking that way, but decided against it, being that he had a bag of foreign goods that she would most certainly inquire of. But before his gaze broke from her stunning face, she met his eyes, but only for a moment. Apollo rushed into the castle, and with his last burst of energy, darted up the stairs and into his room. He locked the door, then passed out on the ground. The bag fell open, and a fairly large book was visible...

Galen saw Apollo walking towards her and looked into his eyes. She stood there waiting for him but he stopped and ran towards the castle. What was wrong? Did she do something? Was he mad at her? She didn’t want to follow him but she had to know why. And what had he been carrying in the bag he had? Galen slowly climbed up the stairs unsure of what she was going to say. As she came to the top, she realized she didn’t know which room was Apollo’s. All the doors but one were open so she decided the closed door must be Apollo’s because she had heard a door shut after he had run up here. Galen slowly walked up to the door and raised her arm but she didn’t knock. She stood there in indecision for a few moments with a worried look on her face. “So, what are you doing now?” A voice broke through Galen’s thoughts and made her jump. She spun around to face Lamar. “What do you mean? I was just… I just wanted to tell Apollo something.” Lamar held up his hands. “Hey, no reason to get so defensive. I was just wondering that’s all.” To Galen’s relief he walked off muttering something about “jumpy sisters.” Galen sighed and turned back towards the door. She knocked and said, “Apollo? Are you in there?”

After a minute, Apollo came to. He picked the bag up and put it in a dark corner behind his other things. Then he noticed his head was bleeding. He opened the door to go to the infirmary and found Galen in the hall. He recoiled at the beauty that was before him...then he brought his thoughts back together. "Why are you so dressed up? Did I miss somthing?"

((What are you assuming?))

Galen looked down as Apollo opened his door. “I… you didn’t miss anything.” She looked up at his face and suddenly she noticed the blood on his head. Her face turned white with fear. “What happened? Why are you bleeding?” She asked with a worried voice.

((I thought I should let you guys know that I will be leaving on the 14th for Arizona and won't be back until the 24th. And if you want to see my schedule for the summer look at my blog.))

((Happy Belated 15th! I am in california visiting my Uncle who is fighting agains't cancer, please pray for him, anyways on to posting..))
After training for about 45 minutes in the training yard, Tarshk took a shower to get the sweat off, and then wandered about the castle, eating an apple. As he strolled up the stairs, he noticed an odd confrontation, Apollo, with blood on his face, had a confused look while Galen had a scared look and was asking him what happened to make him bleed. Slipping into a dark nook, the warrior wrapped his cloak around him and watched, wondering what was going on.

Apollo felt his forehead, and found that it had stopped bleeding. "It's nothing," he said. "I'm just going to go clean it up." And with that, Apollo went downstairs to find some water he could use.

((Thanks but things are getting worse.... He broke his leg, and they have to make a decision to either do a really painful and hurting surgery to his leg, or stop feeding him and let him go away..))
