No, it's not a lie. But unless you are truly saved, unless the Holy Spirit is in you, you will fall away when the difficulties come. Because following Jesus is difficult. Following Jesus requires crucifying our flesh (Galatians 2:20; 5:24; Romans 6:2), living by faith (Romans 1:17; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 10:38), enduring trials with Christlike patience (James 1:2–3, 12; 1 Peter 1:6), and living a lifestyle separate from the world (James 1:27; Romans 12:1–2). Without Holy Spirit we stand no chance. We cannot lead a Godly life without the Holy Spirit. Those who fall away did not lose their salvation, then just never had in the fist place.

I finally got sound but that guy keeps butting in and as far as the pharasis however you spell it. It only has her saying the word and everything before the word is cut out and after that guy butts in. Ridiculous!

The first two that were posted. I don't care about anyone's commentary on the subject. I care about what Joice actually says. She says she is sinless. She defends the little gods theology. Those are NOT orthodox views.

But ultimately, the point about not being sure you will go to heaven, IDK what to think of that. I know I struggle with it myself. I do not know where I will be in my relationship with the Lord at the point of my death. That's about the only thing I can think of that should cause us to doubt. Not what sins you do as I believe God forgives us of our sins. And certainly not that we have done enough as none of us can do enough. But where will I be in 20, 30, 50 years? I do not know. Not to mention that people have recanted their faith under persecution and Christ says, "The one who endures to the end will be saved. In short, this is probably an irrational belief I hold. I am committed to the Lord now, but perhaps it will not always be the case.

No one is fully committed to the Lord all their life. Our faith fails, but He does not. When you doubt yourself, just remember what Jesus did for you. We on our own will not overcome, but we can trust in Him that He will hold on to us and help us to overcome.
Yes the Bible says to endure until the end, but put your faith in Him that because of Him you will endure. And when you fall, He will pick you up. He is greater than any sin and all of them combined. He will not abandon you and nothing will separate you because He said so.

It is in our weakness His strength prevails, because we learn to depend on Him. God purposely puts us in situation where we nor anyone else can help us, so we cry to Him for help.

I'm sure you know people who believe that you can never lose your salvation. I have always struggled over wide is the gate, narrow is the way". Meaning it's hard to go through the path that leads to God. And wide is the gate that leads to satin. I know for sure you can't be confident.

No one is fully committed to the Lord all their life.

Well, I didn't say I was "fully committed," I said I was committed. We sin in even our best works of faith. But if we believe the Gospel, we are saved, no matter if we make mistakes and even if our heart is not purely devoted. When Jesus gives the Greatest and Second Greatest commandments, I don't think he assumes we can do this without fail.

She has talked recently about how she in the past has done things wrong in ministry. And, by the way, I think she now is saying she is something like 86, not 76!

In any case, yes it is possible that things she did and said are now out of date.

I hear her pretty much each day, even the same message three times in a day, at my lady friend's place. She preaches things the Bible says about prosperity and how to handle it - - - for God and how this includes being generous with others.

The Bible does have prosperity teachings, including about physical and social blessings > Mark 10:29-30.

Jesus Himself says if you give then you will get pressed down and above measure, and give and it will be given to you.

And, of course, there is spiritual and emotional prosperity which come, in my opinion, as we give ourselves to the Lord and seek and submit to Him for His correction of our character > Hebrews 12:4-14 > James 4:7 > James 5:16.

She talks about very personal things and how God has corrected her. And she does mention at times how she can question things about herself and about others.

And something she has said is that you an everyday person of Jesus could be accomplishing more with God, than she has done with all her public speaking.

My main concern about her message is how it seems to be much about you an individual getting corrected and blessed . . . and how you can control this by saying certain things and what you are thinking about yourself. It seems she might be putting too much on your own ability to think and say the right things.

She seems to be saying that your words of speech and thought will control what becomes of you. To me, this is saying each of us has more control than we do. I understand that if we have trusted in Jesus, He has us and He can cancel however we have thought or said the wrong things, but then we do need correction so we do and say and think and feel and relate how He wants.

So . . . if you share with her, test each thing. And there is so much in the Bible that she might not talk about.

And various others can have a way of not talking about as much as you can find in the Bible.
