Christ broke the spiritual death bonds when He reconciled us back to God.The gates of hell do what? They hold the dead in. The gates will no longer be able to hold the dead in. They will not be able to prevail against the gospel and the rock of revelation and the very messiah that died and resurrected. Because of this Christ broke the bands of death that would have destroyed all mankind if it were not for the messiah.
What bands of death is that? You do not know what Jesus even said. lol. You so funneh. The gates of hell do what? They hold the dead in. The gates will no longer be able to hold the dead in. No dishonesty coming from me, but thanks for the groundless accusationIf it were just Jane_Doe reading the posts I'd probably agree with you, but it's not just her. Many others - Mormons, Christians, seekers, people of all sorts of faiths and beliefs - are also reading these. One of the biggest tactics Mormons use is to try to exhaust their opponents through double-talk and hurling a lot of accusations and making statements with no backing until the opponent gives up, and that is what we are seeing here. It's important to hold their feet to the fire in these situations and to not let them get away with their dishonest tactics. It is dishonest to make false accusations and to twist other people's words around and use that as a springboard to launch their own false assertions. That kind of dishonesty can be dealt with through truth and logic and reasoning so it's important to fight it that way. Doing so lets everyone else see the truth as opposed to giving up and letting the dishonest ones get in a last dishonest word.
Probably because nobody wanted to take the time to read it.Well I had it in three parts but found it would fit in two. no one has even tried to refute it so ....
It's nice to know that the only person you care about is you. What happens to those who have lived and died in an area that has never ever heard of Jesus?Christ broke the spiritual death bonds when He reconciled us back to God.
You are so worried about the dead that you miss what Jesus has done for you. Anyhoo, so are to those who follow Mormonism. They never find out because they think they already know.
Carry on with your dead people stuff. Your church bought you a nice, new, shiny bridge to nowhere. Have fun crossing it.
At the very least your tactics are dishonest so it's not a groundless accusation. More than once you've quoted me out of context and that is extremely dishonest. No dishonesty coming from me, but thanks for the groundless accusation
Some people, like me, may not have bothered to read it due to it's length...Well I had it in three parts but found it would fit in two. no one has even tried to refute it so ....
If you would read your Bible, and Bible only, you would know what God has to say about such things instead of listening to your church organization that makes things up.It's nice to know that the only person you care about is you. What happens to those who have lived and died in an area that has never ever heard of Jesus?
1. It's very long and disjointed which is why I chose to refute one part at a time (only started with the first part).Well I had it in three parts but found it would fit in two. no one has even tried to refute it so ....
The Bible is God's word, and your question is answered in the Bible, so what's your beef? Tis not I that has the incomplete Jesus...If you would pull your head out of the bible and read more of Gods word you be blessed more so than you are believing in a incomplete Jesus
If you could read the Book of Mormon with a open mind as well as the Doctrine and covenants you would find a wealth of Hods words to man for our benefit. But you can wate time on movies and recreation and I am sure you read books which are fiction. But we are telling you that these books are from God and yet you can't even read them even if they were made up as you believe. This means to me that you know they are Gods words and you are afraid you would have to join the Mormons and put all that is in your life behind you. All that would happen is your life would be blessed moreThe Bible is God's word, and your question is answered in the Bible, so what's your beef? Tis not I that has the incomplete Jesus...
"Pull your head out of the bible.."? Seriously???
Those books are not from God and they are not God's Word; we know this from the Bible. To pull our heads out of the Bible is what Satan wants. The Bible is God's complete Word to us and is sufficient for our needs. He would not waste His or our time with additional "scriptures" that can't add anything to His already Perfect Word.If you could read the Book of Mormon with a open mind as well as the Doctrine and covenants you would find a wealth of Hods words to man for our benefit. So many words, so little substance. If I were to follow your advice I would end up the opposite direction of where I am going...If you could read the Book of Mormon with a open mind as well as the Doctrine and covenants you would find a wealth of Hods words to man for our benefit. 1. It's very long and disjointed which is why I chose to refute one part at a time (only started with the first part).
2. I saw on your other thread that others DID indeed try to refute it.
3. I saw on your other thread also that even with someone who was refuting it the Mod closed the thread and said it was closed at your request.
i'm more than happy to refute it but it's not going to happen overnight because it was so long.
I apologize, you are right - it wasn't closed at your request. I thought you were the OP but you are not. Still, there were some who were refuting your posts or parts of them. Not at my request, Mormons can start threads here. Only "Christians" can start and stop a thread.
yeah it's hard to go back and find!now I can't remember where I posted it so I can go back and look
Do you have a Bible verse which says God's Truth is limited to just the Bible?
(And note: your creeds, which you read so much are not in the Bible, nor scripture).
Neither of these say that God's Truth is just limited to the Bible. Rather the Matthew verse talks about the fulfillment of the Law of Moses, and Timothy talks about the purpose of scripture.Matthew 5:17-18
“Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I am not come to destroy but to fulfill. For verily, I say unto you, Till heaven and Earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled.”
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is inspired by God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
