I think it is just another creative way to tell a Biblical story. There are tons of those and I tend to like them. I think my least favorite is Godspell, but I still like it. I've always been a fan of Jesus Christ Superstar but of course, to understand it, you have to understand that it's being told from Judas's point of view.Fools Hope said:I saw it at my best friend's school last year. Anywho, what do you think about it? Is it sort of a disgrace to the Bible or a creative way to get the message across?
Both Mary and Jesus sing, "I don't know how to love him/her." It can be kind of hard to tell exactly how it is meant when they are singing it though. I think there's a higher meaning to it than being in love like a relationship. I know that I am always attracted to people with a strong faith - but it does not mean I would be in love with them. I, however, admire them and love being around them. Somtimes this can give guys the wrong idea that I have a crush on them. So, I relate to that.Kilted Stranger said:i Think one of the reasons that the resserection isnt shown is that by that point Judas is dead... even tho he comes back to life to mock Jesus...
about the relationship between Mary and Jesus... i think thats symbolic of the Love Jesus has for everyone.
Does Jesus sing that??? hmm cant remember that bit.![]()
