I don't know if anyone posting on here is considering converting but i'll give you my two cents. I used to be a hardcore bible beating christian. Depending on your personality, you might realize you might not find all the answers you're looking for in Christianity. It can offer you everything the world has to offer, but you have to be content to stop looking for those answers and accept the ones the scripture can offer you. That always bothered me... It's hard to think for yourself. But the real point here, the most important thing, is your happiness. It's not for everyone, religion can help just as much as it can hurt sometimes. I hope you can find what makes you happy.
Scott, i have to tell you that while you are more than welcome to your opinion, that's all it is...your opinion. An opinion that is based upon the philosophy of '
me-ism'...me-ism goes something like this:
"Oh, too much is expected of me..."
"I want to rule my life, i don't want to be second in command in my own life...accountable to some God i don't even see"
"I'm happy as i am" (hmm)
"all this religion stuff does is make me feel bad about myself"
etc...
the point i'm making is that you state that you found happiness when you ditched Jesus basically...i just don't believe that it's possible... as for religion not being for everyone ~ well maybe that's true, not in the sense that you mean it though..Christianity, however, is for everyone! (if they are open to allowing the Lord to work in their live's, often revealing those things within us that cause us to want to run from Him). Perseverance is always rewarded, and it's never too late to kneel.

Then why bother searching, isn't it a waste of your time, i mean, there you are, really happy, without God, and you search for meaning, for answers...adamant in your stance of unbelief?
I have a theory...that those who search for answers can never be 100 % content.
