Johnny Hunt and Ergun Caner

Does anybody have any idea what Johnny Hunt was thinking by inviting Ergun Caner to preach at his church?

Also, does anybody understand why the Seth Dunn issue was not handled Biblically?

if Dunn sinned, and there's no evidence that he did, shouldn't he be disciplined according to the Biblical rules of Church discipline? If he didn't, then on what grounds did the church have to throw him out and forbid him to attend Sunday School classes?

That seems more like the tactics of a cult than of a Bible believing church.

Even though Johnny Hunt has never made a secret of his contempt for us Reformed Baptists, I always liked him. But I've lost so much respect for him over this issue. Does anybody have any idea what in the world is going on in Woodstock?

You're right. These cult-like tactics are prevalent in churches that worship the mannagawd (in this case, Johnny Hunt).

Ergun Caner is a known liar and charlatan. Johnny Hunt invites him to preach. A church member speaks out against it - daring to question the mannagawd. The church member gets escorted off the property for doing so.

And that's another thing that should be addressed, but not in this thread.

And, last I heard, Liberty wasn't a church and wasn't kicking members out for raising valid Biblical concerns.
