What is Holy Justice?

It's noteworthy when people characterize as 'holy justice' what scripture describes as 'ungodly wickedness', in referencing the cruelty of the crucifixion of the innocent and loving man who Jesus was/is. There's an obvious reversal of meanings happening in the terminology here. This probably happens because some speculate that God must punish sin before he can forgive sin, and therefore the crucifixion must be God carrying out His wrath against sin/sinners, even though the scripture describes the crucifixion as being carried out by wicked godless men. (God put enmity between the serpents seed and the woman's seed).

Most people can fathom that in the circumstance of a wrong being committed against someone, the sentiment of the term 'forgive' runs contrary to the sentiment of the term to 'punish'. It should be common sense that The Christ would not be seen forgiving someone for carrying out God's justice. So when someone presumes that God must punish sin as a component of what it means to be just and Holy, it has not occurred to factor in that it's precisely because God is just and Holy that He has compassion and displays mercy and forgiveness upon sinners (unconditional Love). For God knows that the flesh is weak and therefore He knows that, unlike Him, we are corruptible and must learn from our mistakes.

Wherefore it makes no sense that when the Christ prayed to his Father to forgive those who crucified him because they don't know what they're doing, that he would be informing God to forgive Himself for causing these men to do His Holy justice by executing His wrath, but rather it only makes sense to forgive them if they're doing something that's wrong and don't know it.

But if His 'Holy Justice' means to destroy a merciless hypocritical Satan who has the power of death through the law and makes all men his prisoners who he will never set free, then it makes sense that God would send His son who was without blemish, to pay the price for sin according to the law, so that the prisoners could be set free. Wherefore God's vengeance would be upon Satan and his children who condemn others for their sin in a hypocritical judgment. Hence God is just in showing mercy to those who with a contrite and penitent heart, also show mercy to others.

Colossians 2:13-15
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Isaiah 61:1-3
61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
