CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I make these sports figurines...basically a trading card type picture glued to a synthetic foam board, put into a solid wood base with a nameplate on the side.
Pros: Flexible hours, working with friends, good pay
Cons: I have to explain exactly what I do at least twice I week.

What do you do for a living?
I am a MOM of 3 wonderful children - 23, 20, 16 years of age !! However the oldest does not live here any more but ... still I love my JOB !! I am also a housewife & have
wonderful ... loving ... kind ... understand husband & have been with him for 27 years
so I thank GOD every morning for him !!
Why does it suck?
My job does not suck ... sure at times I wish that I did not have it ... but the Lord has blessed me in so many ways & I don't think that I would trade it for anything in thee world !!
Why is it good?
My job is wonderful because ... my entire family are CHRISTIANS ... I prayed each & every day & night that my children would come to now the LORD & each of them did in there own time & it was wonderful because my daughter just became a CHRISTIAN in the fall of 2003 & it was just before THANKSGIVING last year & so I was blessed so much with that choice she made ...
So for those of you who think that MOTHERHOOD is a DEAD END JOB ... I just have to say that your WRONG ... it's a wonderful job when you can watch your children grow up & the move away from home ( that was the hard part watching my oldest move out & away from home - I do miss him but ... I do keep him in
every day & night !!
