I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE! To start off my job is very stressful. Second of all I work with about 20 other guys in which only 2 (including myself) are christians. I like what I do but, I feel its were satan is puting the most pressure on me and hes begining to get to me. Do any of you have any words or scripture of encouragement? I could really use it.

The only ones I can think of are 1 Peter 3:15 and 2 Corinthians 12:9

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear" 1 Peter 3:15

"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness,'..." 2 Corinthians 12:9

This situation may be God's will for you to share His Word with your co-workers. You and your christian co-worker could setup a Bible study during lunch break or before work and invite other co-workers to join you. Show them what Chritianity is all about, be patient with them even if they persecute you. Do not be afraid to show your faith. If you could atleast touch one life, it would be worth it, even if its your own. Jesus brought the heathen the message, He died on the cross for the sins of humanity while knowing every single one. Show them this love if not by words, atleast by example.

I, too have a very stressful job. There are only 3 Christians (myself included), and of 35 people, I'm the only female there.

You say you love your job. I love mine. I feel that God has put me here in this state and in this career for a specific reason.

Have faith in that it will all work out. Maybe God wants you to win over some of your coworkers to Christianity? It can be as simple as leading by example.

I wish you the best in your work and life.

James 1:2-4, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

I Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

These verses have been my theme for the summer :)

Well at least you know who is a Christian at your work. We don't have time to talk.

I get up at 3:00 in the morning and drive off to do physical labor. I get home all filthy at 9 a.m. I sleep from 10 to 2 and 10 to 2, giving me a full eight hours of sleep, and the rest of the day to have fun.

It's four hours consecutive lifting, throwing, sorting... UPS. Ugh. But hey, good pay and they partially pay for college. I ain't complaining.

Anywho, I just felt worthless when I was working as a waiter. Like I was being lazy and I didn't have any sense of hard work and accomplishment. This one gives me that feeling in excess. TTYL Jesus loves you!

i was working for this construction company and i was the only christian there. They would tease me about it and everything. I would always try to minister to them, like tell them that's wrong and he/she shouldn't do that. But they didn't care. Then i started to feel that my saftey was starting to become more of a issue, cause i had to use large machines and if someone didn't help me cause i was a christian and something happened. I could be killed, really injured, etc. So i felt that if i have so much fear in work that i shouldn't work there anymore. I told the guy that his crew is under the influence of Satan and he yelled a bad word at me, go figure. Do want your heart says. If you accept Christ as your savior and he'll guide you on your path :) gl on your job

Remember 1 Timothy 4:12: Let no one despise your youth, but become an example of the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Always strive to be an example to everyone around you. It tends to work well because those around you don't feel like you're trying to force it upon them. A Bible study sounds cool, if you feel like you are supposed to de that. Bible studies also tend to work well because they aren't required to go, but may if they are curious. After they notice a difference in your life, they'll become interested in the why.

Most places you work you will be the only Christian there. In the last 5 years I've probably worked with less that 5 christians, out of probably 200. I belive the way to deal with them is this: You must live the Christian life in front of them. Without preaching. They should see your life and ask questions. Say grace before you eat. (I need to do this more) Pray for them. Memorize the Shepards Psalm, when you need comfort replay it in your mind or out loud quietly. Pray for God to open doors for you to spread the gospel to them and when he does, go and spread it boldly.
