I know that there are not very many men on this post, but I really liked the hug from the grandmotherly God figure. God is a comfort even when sometimes we rebel against him.

Well that final scene brought tears to my eyes. Incredible, outstanding show. Amber Tamblyn needs to win an Emmy for it.

"She was the only one who I could talk to, the only one who really listened. But you didn't want me to have that, so, look what I've done. Now you don't have to share me with anyone else. Now, I'm all yours. I did it for you. Are you happy now?! "
About the rabbit... I thought the above quote from the show was very represenative in how her family was dealing with Joan's "craziness." They are in a way taking away the one person that really listened to her (Although they don't know the whole story that God is talking to her, so they can't be at fault.) So, in my mind the rabbit was symbolic to what Joan was doing to God when she ignored him and didn't follow his will--- in a way she was killing him.

Just my crazy take on it.

I love this show.

It was sad to see that Luke's girlfriend has an alchoholic mom, and thats why she never has anyone over. So many kids struggle with this today, showing how alcoholism affects everyone involved...not just the addict.

Great show! Always TiVo'd so that I never miss it!
